heal.abstract	Με άξονα την σύγχρονη ανάγκη για συνεχή μεταβολή του σχεδιασμένου αντικειμένου σε κάθε κλίμακα (αντικείμενο, κτίριο, αστικό περιβάλλον) προκειμένου αυτό να προσαρμόζεται στις μεταβαλλόμενες συνθήκες του σύγχρονου αστικού περιβάλλοντος, η έρευνα αυτή θα επιχειρήσει να διερευνήσει την ικανότητα του αντικειμένου να επηρεάζει και να επηρεάζεται από άλλα αντικείμενα. Το ερώτημα μετατίθεται από το “τι είναι;” το σχεδιασμένο αντικείμενο στο “τι μπορεί να κάνει;”. Αναζητώνται οι ικανότητες επήρειας των αντικειμένων και όχι οι εγγενείς ιδιότητές τους και η αντίστοιχη θέση τους σε ένα ταξονομικό ή οντολογικό σύστημα. Με πεδίο αναφοράς τη θεωρία των συναθροίσεων, θα επιχειρηθεί η διεύρυνσή της ώστε να οριστεί το σχεδιασμένο αντικείμενο ως συναθροίσεις στοιχείων στη βάση μιας επίπεδης οντολογίας που βασίζεται στην ισότητα όλων των στοιχείων που συμμετέχουν (ανθρώπινων και μη ανθρώπινων). Πρόκειται περί προσέγγισης του αντικειμένου με όρους αλληλεπιδρώντων στοιχείων - που διαφέρουν ως προς την χωροχρονική κλίμακα συμπλοκής τους, αλλά όχι ως προς την οντολογική τους υπόσταση - και αναδυόμενων συνόλων. Στη συνέχεια θα κατασκευαστεί ένα αναλυτικό/συνθετικό εργαλείο για τις σχεδιαστικές πρακτικές, και ειδικότερα για την αρχιτεκτονική, θεωρώντας πλέον την συνάθροιση ως την ελάχιστη συνθετική μονάδα και την επήρεια το μέγεθος μέτρησής της. Για την διατύπωση των όρων συμπλοκής των στοιχείων για την κατασκευή των συναθροίσεων, θα παρακολουθήσουμε την συγκρότησή τους σε δύο άξονες. Ο πρώτος, αφορά στις εξωτερικές σχέσεις που αναπτύσσουν, τις οποίες η έρευνα καταγράφει μέσω των υλικών και εκφραστικών εξαρτημάτων των συναθροίσεων. Στον δεύτερο άξονα των διαδικασιών εδαφοποίησης/απεδαφοποίησης των συναθροίσεων, θα επικεντρωθούμε στην αναζήτηση των μη-σημασιοδοτικών σημείων που ενυπάρχουν με τη μορφή πληροφορίας στο σχεδιασμένο αντικείμενο και τις οδηγούν στην εμπλοκή/απεμπλοκή. Τέλος, το μέγεθος της επήρειας, περιγράφει τον ρυθμό εδαφοποίησης/απεδαφοποίησης της συνάθροισης. Η έρευνα απομακρύνεται από την ανάγκη για γλωσσολογικούς προσδιορισμούς του αντικειμένου - προκειμένου αυτό να γίνει αντιληπτό, να ερμηνευθεί και εν συνεχεία να σημασιοδοτηθεί - και οδηγείται σε μια ενεργή διαδικασία η οποία χαρτογραφεί τον τόπο των επιτελεστικών του ικανοτήτων, σύμφωνα με τις δυνάμει συναθροίσεις του. Η διαδικασία χαρτογράφησης αυτών των σημείων επιφέρει αυτή καθεαυτή μια εκδίπλωση χωρικών γεγονότων, ενώ η χρήση τους οδηγεί σε ένα πιο δυναμικό τελικό προϊόν, ένα εκτεταμένο σύνολο υλικών και εκφραστικών αποτελεσμάτων, καθώς επιτρέπει την ανάδυση απρόβλεπτων περιστάσεων. Πρόκειται για μια μετάθεση της προβληματικής από την ανάλυση των υποκειμενικών δομών προς τις συναθροίσεις εκφοράς.	el
heal.abstract	Driven by the current need for producing design objects at every scale (object, building, urban environment) that have the capacity to continuously transform in order to better adapt to perpetually changing conditions of complex urban environments, this research aims at cartographing the ability of the object to affect and be affected. The question concerning the design object drifts apart from its intrinsic properties and their position in a taxonomy or an ontological system towards its capacities to interact with other elements within the system. The limit of the architectural object is the limit of its action possibilities (affordances) and not the limit of its form. Based on the theory of assemblages by Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari we diversify it in order to speculate the design object as clusters of components -both human and non-human- grounded on a flat ontology. This approach renders the components of architectural assemblages in terms of interacting elements - differing in spatiotemporal scale of their assemblage, but not in their ontological status - and its emerging sets. Since all assemblages are part of larger assemblages, their ability to engage is relative and it seems that their most stable element is its ability to affect and to be affected. In order to map the terms under which the formulation of assemblages takes place, we will analyse them in two axes. The first axis examines the relations of exteriority that the material and expressive components develop in order to form the assemblages. The second axis regards the procedures of territorialisation/deterritorialization of the assemblages and in particular those a-signifying signs inherent in the assemblages which eventually drive the components to engage or disengage. We aim at relinquishing the old subjective structures (linguistically based) by refocusing on the mutations of visual enunciation of architectural assemblages. The contemporary architectural object thus calls for a specific elaboration of its enunciative components on both the perception angle - on which we examine the discursive character of the assemblage - and the affection angle - on which we seek the non-discursive one (intensities, durations, intervals, temporalities, rhythms, spasms) that reintroduces some wavering in denotation and signification. What is crucial about the a-signifying signs is the fact that they merge with the material world without mediation and thus they avoid the realm of representation. That is the reason why they enter the machinic world, a molecular level where they operate in a more pre-subjective world of perceptions, affects, drives, and emotions. The molecular lever of a-signifying signs is populated by modulations, movements, speeds, and more that constructs the inert structure of image without entering the linguistic level. Expression becomes a multiplicity. By mapping the a-signifying signs that introduce some uncertainty to signification in built environment we seek to construct an analytical/synthetic design tool capable of simulating/constructing an aesthetically defined architectural object which nonetheless remains open to contextual mutations triggered by the a-signifying signs.	en
