heal.abstract	Αντικείμενο της Διπλωματικής Εργασίας είναι ο σχεδιασμός ενός τεχνολογικά σύγχρονου κτηρίου που θα συστεγάζει τον αθλητικό χορό και την εθνική ομάδα της ρυθμικής γυμναστικής και θα εξυπηρετεί ανάγκες, είτε σε θέματα προπόνησης της ρυθμικής είτε σε θέματα αγώνων χορού εθνικής εμβέλειας. Ο Πειραιάς επελέγη ως τόπος για την ένταξη του κτηρίου, ως ένα σημαντικό βιομηχανικό, εμπορικό, αλλά και πολιτιστικό κέντρο. Για την ακρίβεια, το κτήριο τοποθετείται στην περιοχή του Αγίου Διονυσίου, μια βιομηχανική, κυρίως, περιοχή . Το οικόπεδο που επιλέχτηκε, βρίσκεται στην οδό Μεθώνης, σε μια περιοχή που είναι υπό διαμόρφωση, όπως και τα ιστορικά εργοστάσια που βρίσκονται εκεί, των οποίων η χρήση προσαρμόζεται στις σύγχρονες ανάγκες της περιοχής. Στο χώρο δημιουργούνται δύο μπετονένιοι πυλώνες, που θα συνδεθούν με μία μεταλλική γέφυρα. Στον κοντύτερο από τους δύο σταθερούς όγκους, ο οποίος προορίζεται για δημόσια λειτουργία, υπάρχει χώρος εκδηλώσεων, ενώ γίνεται και η προπόνηση της ρυθμικής γυμναστικής. Στον ψηλότερο από τους σταθερούς όγκους, στεγάζεται η διοίκηση, χώροι ιατρείου, γυμναστηρίου, αλλά και εκτόνωσης. Η μεταλλική γέφυρα, που ενώνει τους δύο αυτούς όγκους, εξυπηρετεί τη βασική λειτουργία του κτηρίου, με τέσσερις αίθουσες χορού όπου γίνονται τα μαθήματα, ενώ ένας διάδρομος που τη διασχίζει, ενώνει τους δύο σταθερούς όγκους του κτηρίου. Το μέταλλο, πέραν του ότι θεωρείται ιδανικό υλικό για τη γεφύρωση του ανοίγματος, επιλέγεται για την κατασκευή της γέφυρας, με σκοπό να επικοινωνήσει το κτήριο με τα βιομηχανικά κελύφη της περιοχής, αλλά και να συμβάλει στη διατήρηση της βιομηχανικής μνήμης του τόπου.	el
heal.abstract	The subject of the Diploma Thesis is the design of a technologically modern building that will bring together sports dance and the Rhythmic gymnastics and will serve needs, either in the field of rhythmic training (for the National Team of Rhythmic Gymnastics) or host national dance games. Piraeus was chosen as one of the most important ports in Europe and a focal point for local transport. More specifically, the building is located in the area of Agios Dionysius, a mainly industrial area. The site is located on Methoni Street, in an area that is currently being re-constructed, as well as the historic factories there, whose use is adapted to the modern needs of the area. Two concrete pillars connected with a metal bridge will constitute the main volume of the building. In the shortest of the two fixed volumes, which is intended for public function, there is a venue for events, while the rhythmic gymnastics training is taking place. In the tallest of the solid volumes, the administration, the practice, the gym, and the emergency room are housed. The metal bridge, linking these two blocks, serves the basic function of the building, with four dance rooms where the lessons are held, while a corridor crossing it, connects the two fixed blocks of the building. Besides being considered an ideal material for the bridging of the opening, metal is chosen for the construction of the bridge, in order for the building to be In accordance with the industrial character of the area, as well as to help preserve the industrial memory of the place.	en
