heal.abstract	Σε αυτή τη διάλεξη, επιχειρούμε να ορίσουμε την έννοια της αρχιτεκτονικής ατμόσφαιρας, αυτής της άυλης διάστασης που ενυπάρχει σε κάθε χώρο. Επίσης περιγράφουμε τον λόγο που αυτή η συζήτηση, θεωρούμε ότι έχει ιδιαίτερη σημασία στη σύγχρονη εποχή. Με δεδομένο ότι η αρχιτεκτονική κρίνεται από την εμπειρία της θεωρούμε ότι η δημιουργία αυτής της μοναδικής κάθε φορά ατμόσφαιρας πλησιάζει και στην ουσία της αρχιτεκτονικής. Αυτό το δεδομένο όμως, γεννά ορισμένα ερωτήματα, όπως Τι σημαίνει ότι το βίωμα αποκτά κεντρικό, μείζονος σημασίας ρόλο στην αρχιτεκτονική; Πώς εμπλέκεται με τη συνθετική διαδικασία; Σε ποιο βαθμό ένας αρχιτέκτονας μπορεί να σχεδιάσει μια ατμόσφαιρα; Προκειμένου να απαντήσουμε σε αυτά τα ερωτήματα και να καταλήξουμε σε συμπεράσματα, θα εστιάσουμε σε δύο παραδείγματα, ώστε πέρα από τη θεωρητική ανάλυση, να δούμε τι γίνεται στην πράξη. Τα παραδείγματα αφορούν το Μουσείο Βυζαντινού Πολιτισμού Θεσσαλονίκης του αρχιτέκτονα Κυριάκου Κρόκου και το Ωδείο Αθηνών του Ιωάννη Δεσποτόπουλου. Μέσα από τα παραδείγματα δεν θα θέλαμε να δημιουργήσουμε ένα αρχιτεκτονικό δίπολο, αλλά να δούμε πως διαφορετικές αρχιτεκτονικές προσεγγίσεις μπορούν να συμβάλλουν στην έρευνά μας.	el
heal.abstract	This dissertation investigates the definition of the architectural atmosphere, the immaterial dimension which inheres in every space, and clarifies the importance of this issue nowadays. In view of the fact that to truly judge buildings, you have to experience them yourself and perceive them with all your senses, we advocate that composing the atmosphere of space approaches the essence of architecture. At the same time, this thesis emerges questions as, what this fact means for architecture and how is affiliated with architectural design? To what extent an architect can design atmospheres? In order to answer those questions and make conclusions, we analyze two specific buildings, the Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki by the architect Kyriakos Krokos and the Athens Conservatoire by the architect Ioannis Despotopoulos (Jan Despo). Focusing on those examples, we do not have the intention to create an architectural dipole but to exam how different philosophies of architecture, can contribute to our research.	en
