heal.abstract	Η συγκεκριμένη ερευνητική εργασία αναλύει τη λειτουργία της φυλακής ως μέσο σωφρονισμού και ελέγχου. Ανατρέχει στους λόγους και τις συγκυρίες που γέννησαν τη φυλακή και τη καθιέρωσαν ως τον πλέον τιμωρητικό θεσμό που στοχεύει στην αναμόρφωση της ψυχής των ανθρώπων. Μέσα από την έρευνα, συγκεντρώνονται και αναλύονται οι μορφές των φυλακών από κτιριολογικής άποψης και ανιχνεύονται τα χωρικά εργαλεία που χρησιμοποιούνται για το σωφρονισμό σε ένα ίδρυμα εγκλεισμού. Εξετάζεται παράλληλα το πως αυτά επιδρούν στη ψυχολογία των κρατουμένων. Διερευνείται λοιπόν το πως η δομή των χώρων οδηγεί στην αποδόμηση του “Εγώ”. Εξετάζεται το πως η σχέση εξουσιαστή και εξουσιαζόμενου συνδέεται με τους χώρους που και οι δύο βιώνουν και το πως αυτή η αλληλεπίδραση επιδρά στη ψυχοσύνθεση των δεύτερων. Η έρευνα επιδιώκει να θέσει προβληματισμούς σχετικά με την αποτελεσματικότητα του θεσμού της φυλακής όσον αφορά το σωφρονισμό των ανθρώπων και τις επιπτώσεις του στην επανένταξη τους στη κοινωνία. Εξετάζει με άλλα λόγια κατά πόσο αποτελεί ένα εργαλείο επαναπροσδιορισμού της ηθικής σταδιοδρομίας των φυλακισμένων ή είναι απλά ένας τρόπος ολοκληρωτικής καταστροφής του ‘’εαυτού’’ που αναπόφευκτα οδηγεί στην υποτροπή των έγκλειστων και μεγαλώνει το χάσμα ανάμεσα στη κοινωνία και σε αυτούς.	el
heal.abstract	This research analyzes the operation of the prison as a means of correction and control. It looks at the reasons and circumstances that gave birth to the prison and established it as the most punitive institution that aims to reform the soul of the people. Through the survey, prison forms are collected and analyzed from a building point of view and the spatial tools used for prisons are traced to an enclave institution. It also examines how they affect the psychology of prisoners. It is therefore investigated how the structure of the spaces leads to the deformation of "ego". It examines how the relationship of power is linked to the spaces that the people experience and how this interaction affects the psychosynthesis of the prisoners. The research seeks to raise concerns about the effectiveness of the prison institution with regard to the rehabilitation of people and its repercussions on their reintegration into society. It examines in other words whether it is a tool for redefining the moral career of the prisoners or is simply a way of totally destroying the "self" that inevitably leads to the recidivism of the incarcerated and enlarges the gap between society and them.	en
