heal.abstract	Το θέμα της διπλωματικής αυτής είναι ένα κέντρο βοτανοκαλλιέργειας και βοτανοθεραπείας στη νότια Κρήτη, κοντά στο χωριο Βαχός του δήμου Βιάννου. Τα βότανα τα οποία επιλέγονται είναι έξι, δύο από τα οποία είναι ενδημικά της Κρήτης και δεν μπορούν να βρεθούν πουθενά αλλού στον κόσμο. Το δίκταμο, η μαλοτήρα, η μαντζουράνα, το χαμομήλι, το φασκόμηλο και το βάλσαμο, βότανα γνωστά για τις θεραπευτικές τους ιδιότητες από την αρχαιότητα. Το κέντρο αυτό περιλαμβάνει έκταση για καλλιέργειες βοτάνων, αποθήκες, μονάδα επεξεργασίας, μονάδα βοτανοθεραπείας, καφέ και εστιατόριο καθώς και μικρή βιβλιοθήκη. Εκτείνεται σε δυο επίπεδα και τμήμα του είναι υπόσκαφο για να μειώσει το φαινόμενο όγκο. Ακόμη προτείνεται διαμόρφωση μικρού οικισμού με δώδεκα κατοικίες για τους επισκέπτες του κέντρου, οι οποίες χωρίζονται σε δύο τυπολογίες, μια η οποία μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει 2 εώς 3 άτομα και μια η οποία μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει 3 εώς 5. Η παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική χρησιμοποιείται σαν πηγή εμπνευσης και δανείζει ορισμένα στοιχεία της, η χρήση πέτρας στην τοιχοποιία. Σκοπός είναι να λειτουργήσει σαν κέντρο εναλλακτικού τουρισμού και να δημιουργήσει ένα νέο πόλο έλξης επισκεπτών που θα σεβαστούν και θα εκτιμήσουν έναν τόπο γεμάτο ιστορία και φυσική ομορφιά.	el
heal.abstract	The subject of this project is a center of botanical and herbal cultivation and therapy in the south of Crete, near the village Vahos, of the municipality of Viannos. The herbs that have been chosen are six, two of which are endemic of Crete and can be found nowhere else in the world. The cretan dittany, the cretan mountain tea, marjoram, chamomile, sage and hypericum are herbs known for their healing and therapeutical powers since the ancient times. The center includes cultivation areas, the processing unit, the therapy unit, storage rooms, a cafeteria, a restaurant, and a small library. It expands on two levels and part of it is below the ground so as to reduce the visible volume. There is also suggested the creation of a small settlement with twelve housing units for the visitors of the center, which are divided in two types. One can accommodate 2 to 3 visitors and the other 3 to 5. Traditional architecture is used as a source of inspiration and some of its elements are used, like stone walls. The aim is for it to become a center of alternative tourism and to create a new attraction for visitors who will respect and appreciate a place full of history and natural beauty.	en
