heal.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία επικεντρώνεται στη μελέτη του βόρειου παράκτιου μετώπου της Πελοποννήσου και συγκεκριμένα της περιοχής ανάμεσα στα αστικά κέντρά της Ακράτας και του Κιάτου. Αρχικά, αναλύεται το γεωφυσικό περιβάλλον του παραπάνω ορισμένου χώρου ως προς τα χαρακτηριστικά και τις ιδιαιτερότητές του. Στη συνέχεια, εξετάζεται το ανθρωπογενές περιβάλλον ως προς το οικιστικό και μεταφορικό δίτκυο, τις ακτίνες εξυπηρέτησης των αστικών κέντρων και τη σχέση του με το ανάγλυφο της περιοχής. Τέλος, η μελέτη εστιάζεται στη Δ.Ε Ευρωστίνης, που παρουσιάζει προβληματική λειτουργία ακτίνας εξυπηρέτησης, και ειδικότερα στο ανάφλυφο, στο φυσικό περιβάλλον της ακτογραμμής καθώς και στα χαρακτηριστικά του οικιστικού περιβάλλοντος και των υποδομών. Από τη συγκεκριμένη μελέτη γίνονται αντιληπτές οι αδυναμίες του βόρειου μετώπου και προκύπτουν οι προβληματισμοί που οδηγούν στις αρχικές προθέσεις και τους γενικούς στόχους της παρέμβασης. Στο επόμενο στάδιο, στο επίκεντρο του γενικότερου πλάνου της πρότασης τίθεται το αστικό κέντρο της περιοχής, το Δερβένι, στο οποίο υλοποιείται η στρατηγική αντιμετώπισης των προβλημάτων σε επίπεδο πολεοδομικής κλίμακας , με σκοπό την αρτιότερη λειτουργία και τη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη του οικισμού και του ευρύτερου χώρου . Καταληκτικά, παρουσιάζονται εστιασμένες παρεμβάσεις στις περιοχές αυξημένης σημασίας του οικισμού, μαζί με ενδεικτικά σχέδια διαμορφώσεων του δημόσιου χώρου.	el
heal.abstract	The present diploma thesis focuses on the study of the northern coastal front of the Peloponnese and specifically of the area between the urban centres of Akrata and Kiato. Initially, the geophysical environment of the above defined space is being analyzed in terms of its characteristics and peculiarities. The anthropogenic environment is then being examined with regard to the residential and transport networks, the service radius of the urban centres and its relation to the relief of the area. Finally, the study spotlights the Eurostini M.U, which presents a problematic radius of service, and especially the relief, the coastal natural environment and the characteristics of the residential environment and infrastructure. The analysis mentioned addresses the deficiencies of the northern front and rises the questioning that leads to the initial intentions and general objectives of the intervention. At the next stage of the study, the urban centre of Derveni becomes the principal aspect of the proposal. The urban-planning scaled strategy for problem confrontation is being implemented on its grounds and aims for the better functioning and sustainable development of the settlement and the surrounding area. The last part of the issue includes focused interventions in the areas of increased importance of the settlement, along with indicative plans of the formation of the public space.	en
