heal.abstract	Η Κρήτη αποτελεί έναν τόπο ιδιαίτερου φυσικού πλούτου, όσον αφορά στα ενδημικά είδη άγριας χλωρίδας με φαρμακευτικές ιδιότητες (βότανα). Στους πρόποδες και στις πλαγίες του Ψηλορείτη, γνωστός και ως Όρος Ίδη, ευδοκιμούν τα περισσότερα βότανα που προσφέρονται για φαραμακευτική χρήση, και επικρατούν οι ιδανικές συνθήκες για την καλλιέργειά τους. Η περιοχή του πρώην Δήμου Τετραχωρίου, που βρίσκεται κεντρικά του Νομού Ηρακλείου και στους πρόποδες της Ίδης, πληρεί τις προϋθέσεις για τη δημιουργία Δικτύου Ανάπτυξης, με στόχο την Αναγνώριση και την Ανάδειξη του τοπικού φυσικού πλούτου και των βοτάνων, αλλά και την Αξιοποίησή τους στον παραγωγικό τομέα μέσα από την Έρευνα και την Παραγωγή, σε ένα περιβάλλον ίδιαίτερου φυσικού και πολιτιστικού ενδιαφέροντος. Στο θέμα αυτό, προτίνεται η δημιουργία ενός Δικτύου Ανάδειξης και Αξιοποίησης των Αρωματικών Φαραμακευτικών Φυτών, στην ευρύτερη περιοχή του Βενεράτου, που περιλαμβάνει ένα σύστημα λειτουργιών που σχετίζονται με την Παραγωγή, την Έρευνα, την Αναγνώριση και την Ανάδειξη των τοπικών βοτάνων. Στο Δίκτυο περιλαμβάνεται, επίσης, η δημιουργία ένος Κέντρου Έρευνας και Μεταποίησης Αρωματικών Φαρμακευτικών Φυτών.	el
heal.abstract	The island of Crete is a place of significant natural wealth, concerning the endemic species of wild flora with medicinal properties. The slopes and foothills of mount Ida (Psiloritis), present the ideal conditions for the cultivation and thriving of such species. The former municipality of Tetraxoriou area, that is located at the centre of Heraklion Prefecture and also is located at the foothills of mount Ida, is a site that fulfills the requirements for a Development Plan, in order to contribute towards the Recognition and the Exhibition of the local herbs and natural wealth, and also towards the Development in the terms of Research and Production. This project suggests the creation of a Network for the Development and Utilization of local Medicinal Plants, at the region of Venerato village. This Network includes all the functions required for the development of different sectors related to Medicinal Herbs and the respective Production, Research, value Recognition and Exhibition. The Network also includes the creation of a Medicinal Plants Research and Processing Institute.	en
