heal.abstract	Θέμα της διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η μελέτη αποκατάστασης και τεκμηρίωσης του ναού του Αγίου Σπυρίδωνα και του κωδωνοστασίου του, στην περιοχή του Κάστρου του Αγίου Γεωργίου στην Κεφαλονιά. Τόσο ο ναός, όσο και το κωδωνοστάσιό του αποτελούν σπουδαία δείγματα της αρχιτεκτονικής της ενετικής περιόδου στο νησί. Μετά τους καταστροφικούς σεισμούς του 1953 ωστόσο, ο ναός ερειμώθηκε εξαιτίας των ζημιών που προκλήθηκαν σε αυτόν. Αποτέλεσμα είναι οι δύο ιστάμενοι σήμερα τοίχοι του να στέκουν εκτεθιμένοι στις καιρικές συνθήκες και στις δυναμικές καταπονήσεις που οφείλονται στους συχνούς σεισμούς που ταλαιπωρούν το νησί. Μετά από την τεκμηρίωση και σχεδιαστική αποτύπωση του μνημείου, επιχειρείται η ανάλυση της παθολογίας του και προτείνονται στερεωτικές επεμβάσεις και αποκατάσταση των δομικών στοιχείων, προκειμένου ο ναός να επαναχρησιμοποιηθεί με την αρχική του λειτουργία.	el
heal.abstract	The subject of this dissertation is the restoration and documentation study of the church of Agios Spyridonas and its bell tower, located in the area of Saint George castle in Kefalonia. The church and its bell tower are important paradigms of the architecture which prevailed during the Venetian period on the island. After the disastrous earthquakes of 1953, the church was abandoned due to the severe damages that it suffered. As a result, the two remaining walls of the church are exposed to the weather conditions and the frequent earthquakes that strike the island. After the documentation phase and the crafting of the measured drawings of the church, the building pathology is analyzed. At the final stage of the dissertation, restoration measures of its structural elements are proposed, aiming at reaching a solution for reusing the building as a church.	en
