heal.abstract	Αντικείμενο αυτής της εργασίας ήταν η μελέτη της περιοχής μεταξύ των εκβολών του Κηφισού και του Ιλισού, στο Φαληρικό Όρμο, με αποτέλεσμα την πρόταση ενός "αστικού" υγροβιότοπου. Η έρευνα επικεντρώθηκε στη μεθοδολογία του σχεδιασμού. Αξιοποιώντας παραμέτρους που προκύπτουν από τα προβλήματα και τον χαρακτήρα της περιοχής, όπως για παράδειγμα η απομόνωση της από τον αστικό ιστό και τις γύρω γειτονιές, η γειτνίαση με σημαντικά τοπόσημα της Αθήνας, τα προβλήματα των πλημμυρών, οι κλιματικές συνθήκες και η σημασία της περιοχής για την ορνιθοπανίδα. Όλα τα παραπάνω ουσιαστικά αφορούν μια περιοχή που βρίσκεται ανάμεσα στην πόλη και στη θάλασσα. Σαν απάντηση σε όλα τα παραπάνω, βασικές κατευθύνσεις του σχεδιασμού, ήταν η επανασύνδεση της περιοχής με τον αστικό ιστό και η αξιοποίηση φυσικών μηχανισμών. Έγινε μια προσπάθεια για μια πιο ήπια παρέμβαση, που βασίζεται, όσο το δυνατόν, στην φυσική εξέλιξη του τοπίου. Μελετήθηκαν αρκετά, στοιχεία που αφορούν την κατασκευή ενός τέτοιου τοπίου, με στόχο έναν σχεδιασμό που θα είναι ανοιχτός σε διάφορα επιστημονικά πεδία. Παράλληλα έγινε μια προσπάθεια, αυτές οι πληροφορίες της κατασκευής του τοπίου να ανατροφοδοτήσουν το σχεδιασμό. Μέσα από τον συγκερασμό όλων αυτών των στοιχείων, ήταν σημαντικό να αποδοθεί ένα νέο περιεχόμενο σε αυτή την περιοχή, ανάμεσα στην πόλη και στη θάλασσα, με αυτό τόσο μεγάλο εύρος, που όμως αυτή τη στιγμή δίνει την εντύπωση του κενού. Τελικός στόχος ήταν η ισορροπία ανθρωπογενούς και φυσικού και κατ' επέκταση η ισορροπημένη συνύπαρξη ανθρώπου και "άγριας" ζωής.	el
heal.abstract	The subject of this diploma thesis was the study of the area between the estuary of Kifissos and Ilissos, in the Faleron Bay, resulting in the proposal of a "urban" wetland. The research focused on design methodology. By exploiting parameters that arise from the problems and the character of the area, such as it' s isolation from the urban fabric and surrounding neighborhoods, the proximity to major landmarks of Athens, flood problems, climatic conditions and the importance of the area for the avifauna. All of the above essentially concern an area located between the city and the sea. As a response to all of the above, the basic directions of the design, was the reunion of the area with the urban fabric and the exploitation of natural mechanisms. An effort has been made for a more mild intervention, based as much as possible on the natural evolution of the landscape. Several elements have been studied regarding the construction of such a landscape, aiming at a design that will be open to various scientific fields. At the same time, an effort has been made to make this information of landscape construction a feedback to the design. By combining all these elements, it was important to assign a new content to this region, between the city and the sea, which, even if it is so wide, now gives the impression of void. The ultimate goal was the balance of urban and natural and, by extension, the balanced coexistence of man and "wild" life.	en
