heal.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία αφορά στη δημιουργία ενός δικτύου κίνησης πεζών στο Δήμο Ζωγράφου με επίκεντρο το ευρύτερο οικοδομικό τετράγωνο της Βίλας Ζωγράφου. Το δίκτυο συγκροτείται από επιλεγμένους πράσινους άξονες, δηλαδή δρόμους τα χαρακτηριστικά των οποίων τους καθιστούν κατάλληλους για την απρόσκοπτη, ασφαλή και ευχάριστη πεζή μετακίνηση των κατοίκων έχοντας ως σημαντικότερο κόμβο το μοναδικό πνεύμονα πρασίνου στο εσωτερικό της πόλης, τη Βίλα Ζωγράφου. Ο Δήμος Ζωγράφου είναι ένας πυκνοδομημένος Δήμος του Λεκανοπεδίου με συμπαγή οικιστικό ιστό όπου κυριαρχούν οι πολυώροφες πολυκατοικίες, η υψηλή κυκλοφορία των οχημάτων, η έλλειψη χώρων στάθμευσης και ο κατακερματισμός του αστικού πρασίνου. Παρά το γεγονός ότι στα ανατολικά γειτνιάζει με τον ορεινό όγκο του Υμηττού και ταυτόχρονα περιβάλλεται από μεγάλους πράσινους χώρους, όπως τα πάρκα Γουδή και Ιλισίων, το Ζωγράφου παρουσιάζει μικρό ποσοστό χώρων πρασίνου στο εσωτερικό του. Το ευρύτερο συγκρότημα που ανήκει η Βίλα Ζωγράφου είναι ο μεγαλύτερος ενιαίος χώρος πρασίνου μέσα στο Δήμο, ο οποίος συγχρόνως παραλαμβάνει χρήσεις πολιτισμού και εκπαίδευσης και αποτελεί τόπο ξεκούρασης, άσκησης και αναψυχής για τους κατοίκους. Στα πλαίσια της εργασίας επιχειρείται η σύνδεση του φυσικού αυτού πυρήνα με την πόλη και τους πολίτες μέσω διαδρομών περπατήματος και επιπλέον ενίσχυση των ήπιων τρόπων μετακίνησης για τις καθημερινές μεταφορές. Η προώθηση των αρχών της βιώσιμης κινητικότητας αποτελεί μια μεγάλη ευκαιρία όχι μόνο για το Δήμο Ζωγράφου αλλά και κάθε σύγχρονη ελληνική πόλη για τη δημιουργία ενός νέου οδικού περιβάλλοντος. Άλλωστε, τελικός στόχος της εργασίας είναι η βελτίωση της ποιότητας ζωής των πολιτών στην πόλη και η κατά το δυνατόν μεγαλύτερη εξυπηρέτηση των καθημερινών τους αναγκών.	el
heal.abstract	This diploma thesis is concerned with the creation of a pedestrian traffic network in the Municipality of Zografou focusing on the wider space of Villa Zografou. The network consists of selected green axes – roads whose characteristics make them suitable for the seamless, safe and pleasant walking of the residents, having as the most important hub the unique green area inside the city, Villa Zografou. The Municipality of Zografou is a densely populated Municipality with a compact urban fabric dominated by high buildings, traffic congestion, lack of parking space and fragmentation of urban green. Despite the fact that in the east it is close to Hymettus mountain range and at the same time surrounded by large green spaces, such as the Goudi and Ilissia parks, Zografou presents a small percentage of green spaces inside it. The largest complex that Zografou Villa belongs to, is the largest cohesive green space within the Municipality, which simultaneously serves cultural and educational uses. The latter is also a place of rest, exercise and recreation for the residents. In the context of this work, it is attempted to connect this natural core with the city and the citizens through walking routes and strengthen the sustainable means of transport for daily transportation, as well. Promoting the principles of sustainable mobility is a great opportunity not only for the Municipality of Zografou but also for every greek city to create a new road environment. Besides, the ultimate goal of this dissertation is to improve the standard of living in the city and to meet their everyday needs as much as possible.	en
