heal.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία ασχολείται με την αποτίμηση ενός υφιστάμενου κτιριακού συγκροτήματος που σχεδιάστηκε με τους αντισεισμικούς κανονισμούς προ του 1984. Ο κανονισμός με βάση τον οποίο έγινε η μελέτη είναι ο ελληνικός Κανονισμός Επεμβάσεων (ΚΑΝ.ΕΠΕ.) και η μέθοδος ανάλυσης της κατασκευής η μη-γραμμική στατική (PUSHOVER). heal.abstract | In Greece there is a large percent of structures designed by the older codes of 1959, 1984 an 1995 which are based on concepts of earthquake engineering much different than the modern ones. Today there is an effort in progress of evaluating the seismic capacity of these structures which is implied not only by the need to ensure that they are still safe, but by the state itself. A great contribution to this effort is being made by the new Greek Code of Interventions (KAN.EPE) which provides the engineers with usefull and reliable tools. In this diploma thesis we will evaluate the seismic capacity of building complex designed before 1984. The method used is non-linear static analysis according to KAN.EPE. The software used for the simulation and the analysis is ETABS 2015 V15.0.0. In chapter 1 we define the subject of this probject and describe the circumstances in which the Greek Code of Interventions (KAN.EPE) was developed. In chapter 2 we analyze the basic concepts of performance based design which is the method used for the evaluation. In chapter 3 we give a detailed description of the building complex that is to be evaluated In chapter 4 we analyze the simulation process and the complexities of this procedure In chapter 5 we describe the process of creating the capacity curve of each structural frame element In chapter 6 we define the failure criteria of large lightly reinforced walls, which is used in the pushover analysis In chapter 7 we describe the procedure of non-linear static and the final evaluation of the building complex. In chapter 8 we present the conclusion of the evaluation process and some notice on the use of non-linear analysis in structures with large walls. | en |
