Εκτίμηση της φέρουσας ικανότητάς του και διερεύνηση της ανάγκης ή όχι ενίσχυσής του,με χρήση της μεθόδου της στατικής ανελαστικής ανάλυσης(pushover),μέσω του λογισμικού ETABS 2015. |

This diploma thesis,deals with the evaluation of the seismic adequacy of an existing
building made of reinforced concrete,accordi
ng to the applicable regulations of the
Greek Code for Structural Interventions.(KAN.EPE.)
Specifically,the carrying
capacity of the building was assessed and then the need for reinforcement was
investigated,using the method of pushover analysis.The simula
tion of the building as
well as the analysis,were performed using the software ETABS v15.2.0.In more
details
:
In chapter 1,the subject of the thesis is described,as well as the code used for the
analysis.
In chapter 2,a theoretical approach of the evaluati
on of the seismic capacity is
carried out,by analyzing certain terms of the current anti
-
seismic codes and
mentioning relevant provisions of KAN.EPE.
In chapter 3,the morphology of the examined building and its simulation in the
software is presented.A met
hod for the simulation of plastic hinges on circular
columns is also mentioned.
In chapter 4,pushover analysis is described and applied on the examined
building,followed by the evaluation of its carrying capacity.Through this process,the
need to take reinf
orcement measures also emerges.
In chapter 5,alternative ways of structures' reinforcement are mentioned,while the
most appropriate of them is chosen and then the process of chapter 4 is repeated,in
order to check if the building has reached the desired pe
rformance point.Some
additional checks are performed on shear walls and the center of rigidity is also
calculated.
In chapter 6,the conclusions of the thesis are presented,while commenting the
results about the building's behaviour. |
