heal.abstract	Η διπλωματική εργασία πραγματεύεται τη διαχείριση και επανακατοίκηση των μεταλλευτικών τοπίων της Σερίφου, πιο συγκεκριμένα στους κόλπους Κουταλά και Μεγάλου Λιβαδίου. Η πρόταση αφορά κυρίως υπαίθριες τοπιακές διαμορφώσεις στους δύο κόλπους, με την παράλληλη σύσταση ενός ερευνητικού κέντρου και ενός μεταλλευτικού μουσείου αντίστοιχα. Ξεκινώντας από την ένταξη του μεταλλευτικού τοπίου της Σερίφου σε ένα ευρύτερο δίκτυο ανάδειξης της βιομηχανικής κληρονομιάς του Αιγαίου, το οποίο διαμορφώθηκε στην ερευνητική εργασία, η Σέριφος μελετάται ως χαρακτηριστικό πεδίο εφαρμογής και σχεδιασμού. Η περαιτέρω εμβάθυνση και ανάλυση του μεταλλευτικού τοπίου του νησιού, το οποίο απαρτίζεται τόσο από βιομηχανικά κατάλοιπα όσο και από πολυδιάστατα φυσικά χαρακτηριστικά, οδήγησε στη διαμόρφωση ενός συστήματος ήπιων παρεμβάσεων που λαμβάνει υπόψη τόσο το ίδιο το τοπίο, όσο και την ιστορική μνήμη και κοινωνικούς και αναπτυξιακούς παράγοντες. Η πρόταση απαρτίζεται από υπαίθριες διαδρομές, τοπιακές παρεμβάσεις, επαναχρησιμοποιούμενα βιομηχανικά κελύφη και νέες κτιριακές μονάδες και στόχο έχει την αναβίωση της τοπιακής εμπειρίας, τόσο ιστορικά όσο και προσωπικά, την επανενεργοποίηση του τοπίου και την επανανοηματοδότησή του στη σύγχρονη ζωή του νησιού.	el
heal.abstract	This diploma thesis deals with the management and re-occupation of the mining landscapes of Serifos, more specifically in the bays of Koutalas and Mega Livadi. The proposal consists basically of landscape manipulations on the two bays, with the parallel establishment of a research center and a mining museum respectively. Starting with the inclusion of the mining landscapes of Serifos in a wider network for the promotion of the industrial heritage of the Aegean Sea, that was proposed in the research thesis, Serifos island is studied as a characteristic field of practice and design. A deeper study and analysis of the mining landscape of the island, that consists of industrial remains as well as multidimensional natural qualities, lead to the configuration of a system of mild interventions, that takes the landscape into account, as well as the collective memory and social and developing factors. The proposal consists of paths, landscape installations, reused industrial shells and new building facilities and aims to relive the landscape experience, historically and in a personal way, and to the reactivation of the mining landscape and its re-establishment on the modern way of life of the island.	en
