heal.abstract	Η παρούσα μελέτη εκπονήθηκε κατά τη διάρκεια του Διατμηματικού Προγράμματος Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών “Προστασία Μνημείων” για την αποκατάσταση του Ενετικού κτιρίου στο ιστορικό κέντρο του Ναυπλίου. Το κτίριο είναι γνωστό ως το Ενετικό Σχολείο, η Ενετική Σκουόλα ή το Ενετικό Μοναστήρι και βρίσκεται σε άμεση γειτνίαση με το μητροπολιτικό ναό του Αγίου Γεωργίου (ο οποίος χτίστηκε ως τζαμί στα τέλη του 16ου αι). Πρόκειται για ένα από τα πιο σημαντικά δημόσια κτίρια της πόλης του Ναυπλίου. Σήμερα βρίσκεται σε πολύ κακή κατάσταση διατήρησης και χρήζει άμεσης συντήρησης και αποκατάστασης. Η μελέτη επικεντρώθηκε στην ιστορική τεκμηρίωση του μνημείου (η οποία συνδυάστηκε με την τεκμηρίωση του ναού), στην αποτύπωση του Ενετικού (με σύγχρονες τοπογραφικές μεθόδους - γεωμετρική τεκμηρίωση - παραγωγή τρισδιάστατου μοντέλου) και στη δημιουργία δισδιάστατων σχεδίων. Επιπλέον, συμπεριλαμβάνει την παρουσίαση και ερμηνεία του δομικού συστήματος καθώς και την αναλυτική προσέγγιση των οικοδομικών φάσεων εξέλιξης του κτίσματος. Τέλος, καταλήγει στη διαμόρφωση της αρχιτεκτονικής πρότασης αποκατάστασης και επανάχρησης του μνημείου ως μουσείο καθώς και στην πρόταση για τις επεμβάσεις στερέωσης και ενίσχυσης του δομικού συστήματος του. Οι νέες επεμβάσεις σχεδιάστηκαν ώστε να εντάσσονται με σεβασμό στο μνημείο, να επιλύουν τις ανάγκες του νέου λειτουργικού προγράμματος δημιουργώντας χώρους με αρχιτεκτονική ποιότητα και να ενισχύουν το υπάρχον δομικό σύστημα. Πρόθεση ήταν η αποκατάσταση της δομής και μορφής του κτιρίου στην τελευταία ιστορική του φάση καθώς και η διακριτότητα της νέας επέμβασης από το ιστορικό κέλυφος. Η δημιουργία μουσείου στο συγκεκριμένο κτίριο κρίνεται πως θα συμβάλει ιδιαίτερα στην προώθηση της πολιτιστικής κληρονομίας στην πόλη του Ναυπλίου.	el
heal.abstract	This paper attempts to illustrate briefly the architectural study that was completed during the MSc Dissertation at the Postgraduate Programme “Protection of Monuments”, concerning the restoration of the historic building known as the Venetian Scuola or the Venetian Monastery. The building is located in the historic center of Nafplio, adjacent to the St. George’s Cathedral, which was primarily built as a mosque in the late 16th century and consists one of the most important public buildings in the city of Nafplio. Nowadays the building is abandoned and in poor state, so immediate restoration measures are indispensable in order to ensure the continuity of its life. The architectural proposal focuses on the historical documentation of the monument, combined along with the documentation of the St. George’s Cathedral, the imprinting of the Venetian building (by using modern surveying methods – geometric documentation – production of 3D model) and the elaboration of 2D architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections, axonometric drawings, details, etc.). Moreover, the study involves the illustration of the building’s structural system, as well as the analytical approach of the building’s different historical phases. The project’s restoration proposal, concerning the monument’s reuse of as a museum is also presented as well as the proposal for the reinforcement of its structural system. The architectural proposal took into account several factors, such as the historical significance of the monument in question, legibility of the historical phases of the monument, the state of conservation, the location of the monument in the city of Nafplio, reversibility, reinforcement of the structural system, etc. The project’s proposal restores the structure and the form of the building in its last historical phase and the new interventions differentiate from the historical parts of the building. The establishment of a museum in the Venetian building will contribute significantly in the promotion of cultural heritage in the city of Naflpio.	en
