heal.abstract	Η διπλωματική μας αφορά την αποκατάσταση του σανατορίου της Πάρνηθας και την επανάχρησή του ως πανεπιστημιακή ψυχιατρική κλινική, για πάσχοντες από κατάθλιψη και άλλου είδους ψυχικές διαταραχές. Περιλαμβάνει ένα τμήμα ενηλίκων και ένα τμήμα εφήβων τα οποία τοποθετούνται στο κτίριο του σανατορίου, ενώ, για τις πανεπιστημιακές και εκπαιδευτικές ανάγκες της κλινικής προτείνεται ένα νέο κτίριο. Λόγω της χρήσης, ζητούμενο ήταν ο χώρος να ανταποκρίνεται στις ανάγκες και να λειτουργεί ως θεραπευτικό περιβάλλον. Αυτό επιτυγχάνεται, πρώτον, από την επιλογή της τοποθεσίας και, δεύτερον, από την αντίληψη της κλινικής, όχι ως νοσοκομείο αλλά, ως κοινότητα. Στόχος ήταν η καλύτερη δυνατή διαχείριση του υπάρχοντος κτιρίου και όχι η διατήρησή του. Οι πολλές αλλαγές που υπέστη, από την κατασκευή του έως την οριστική εγκατάλειψή του, αλλοίωσαν τη μορφή του και το καταπόνησαν. Μέσα από το σχεδιασμό στόχος ήταν η ανάδειξη των βασικών συνθετικών του αρχών, η χρήση του εσωτερικού με ευέλικτο τρόπο και, παρά την απαιτητική νέα χρήση, η μείωση του μεγάλου του όγκου ώστε να έρθει πιο κοντά στην ανθρώπινη κλίμακα και να ενταχθεί καλύτερα στο περιβάλλον. Το νέο κτίριο τοποθετείται απέναντι από το παλιό, δημιουργώντας ανάμεσά τους ένα αίθριο - πυρήνα της κλινικής. Παρά την απλότητα και το μικρό του μέγεθος, το νέο κτίριο έχει μία δυναμικότητα που, χωρίς να υποβιβάζει την ύπαρξη του σανατορίου, το κάνει να ξεχωρίζει, ενώ συνολικά, το συγκρότημα δένει αρμονικά.	el
heal.abstract	Our thesis deals with the restoration of the sanatorium of Parnis and its reuse as a university clinic for people who suffer from depression and other mental disorders. It includes a section for adults and a section for teenagers which are located in the sanatorium building. The university and educational needs of the clinic are located in a new building. Because of the use, it was necessary that the space could fulfill the needs and function as a healing environment. This is accomplished by the chosen location and by the perception of the clinic not as a hospital but as a community. Our purpose was to succeed the best possible management of the existent building and not try to preserve it. The many changes that it suffered, from its construction to its final abandonment, changed its form and caused damage. Through our design, our aim was to show the main concept of its form, to use the internal part with flexibility and despite the new demanding use, to reduce its volume for a better connection with the human scale and a better integration into the environment. The new building is located across the old one, creating between them an atrium, the center of the clinic. Despite the simplicity and its small size, the new building is very dynamic and that makes it special without underestimating the existence of the old one. Overall, the clinic is an harmoniously combined complex.	en
