heal.abstract	Στόχος αυτής της διάλεξης είναι κατανόηση της εξέλιξης των κοινοτήτων και του χαρακτήρα τους στην σύγχρονη εποχή με αφετηρία τα παραδοσιακά χαρακτηριστικά τους, τον χώρο και τα δίκτυα. Αρχικά, μελετάται η ιστορική πορεία των κοινοτήτων, τα ιδιαίτερα χαρακτηριστικά που διαθέτουν, χωρικά και κοινωνικά, και πως τα τελευταία μπορούν να αξιοποιηθούν με σύγχρονο τρόπο σήμερα, μέσα από παραδείγματα. Έπειτα αναλύονται τα δίκτυα, οι δυνητικές δηλαδή σχέσεις στην σφαίρα του ψηφιακού. Τα δίκτυα πλέον, γίνονται εντονότερα αντιληπτά μέσω της τεχνολογίας και διαμορφώνουν ένα νέο έδαφος για την επικαιροποίηση της ταυτότητας των κοινοτήτων. Στη συνέχεια προσεγγίζεται ο χώρος, δηλαδή το πραγματικό, και η σχέση του με την οικονομία. Επιπλέον, εξετάζονται σύγχρονες δράσεις και καταστάσεις που μπορούν να λειτουργήσουν ως θεωρητικά πρότυπα κατανόησης. Πρώτα, βλέπουμε την εξέλιξη, την συνάντηση και τις επιδιώξεις ιδιαίτερων κοινοτήτων μέσα από την χρήση των πληροφοριακών εργαλείων του σήμερα. Ύστερα, γίνεται μια ενδεικτική μελέτη περίπτωσης δύο εντελώς διαφορετικών τοπικών κοινοτήτων: της Ύδρας και του Μιντέλο. Η σύγκριση των δυο αποτελεί μια απόπειρα σχολιασμού μέσα από τις έννοιες που μελετώνται στην διάλεξη.	el
heal.abstract	The aim of this thesis is to investigate the current evolution of communities through their traditional characteristics, space and networks. The research starts by a historic analysis of the distinctive characteristics of communities in their original state and how these were moderated due to social changes. Then, there is an analysis of how these primitive characteristics could be re-invented and re-used by the communities nowadays. Furthermore, there is an approach on Networks, an element intensely recurring in the modern times because of the constant involvement of technology in our everyday life. Networks are closely related to the re-invention of the Identity of communities. Afterwards, the research focuses on the matter of Locus and how space is related with the economy. Examples of contemporary digital tools are then presented, as a theoretical basis for the relationship between the Digital and the Physical, focusing on their impact on communities. Finally, there is a comparison between two locus-based communities, Hydra in Greece and Mindelo in Cape Verde. The concepts analyzed throughout the thesis are used to investigate the relationship between the space and the networks via the case study of these two communities.	en
