heal.abstract	Σε μια εποχή έντονης ανάγκης διαφύλαξης της πολιτιστικής ταυτότητας, το ενδιαφέρον στρέφεται στις ιστορικές πόλεις, τα χωρικά τμήματα που συγκεντρώνουν τη μνήμη των ανθρώπινων επιτευγμάτων, υλικών και άυλων, τον πολιτισμό μας. Η προστασία αυτών των πόλεων κρίνεται αναγκαίο να αποτελέσει αντικείμενο σχεδιασμού, μέσα από μια διαδικασία αστικής ανάπλασης. Αντιπροσωπευτικές αναπλάσεις ευρωπαϊκών ιστορικών πόλεων δίνουν ένα στίγμα του τρόπου με τον οποίο μπορεί ο σχεδιασμός να συμβάλει στην ανάδειξη της πολιτιστικής ταυτότητας και στην προβολή ιδιαίτερων φυσιογνωμικά πόλεων με ιστορικά φορτισμένο υπόβαθρο. Πόλεων όπως η Σπάρτη, μία ιστορική πόλη παράδειγμα του πόσο η διαδοχή των πολεοδομικών φάσεων συγκρότησης του ιστού μπορεί να επηρεάσει τη διαμόρφωση της φυσιογνωμίας μιας τέτοιας πόλης. Η μελέτη αυτών των φάσεων και της σημερινής δομής της πόλης αλλά και των ιδιαίτερων πολιτιστικών χαρακτηριστικών της μπορεί να δώσει κατευθύνσεις σχεδιασμού για μία δυναμική στο μέλλον, επιχειρώντας το χωρικό αποτύπωμα του χθες να αναγεννήσει την ιστορική πόλη του αύριο.	el
heal.abstract	At a time of intense need to preserve cultural identity, the interest is focused on the historical cities, the spatial divisions that gather the memory of human achievements, material and intangible, our culture. The protection of these cities is evaluated necessary to be the subject of planning, through a process of urban regeneration. Representative reformations of European historical cities are able to point how design can contribute to the emergence of cultural identity and the projection of special physiognomical cities with historically charged backgrounds. Cities such as Sparta, a historical city example of how the succession of the urban planning phases can affect the shaping of the physiognomy of such a city. The study of these phases and the current structure of the city and its specific cultural characteristics can provide planning directions for a dynamic in the future, attempting the spatial footprint of yesterday to regenerate the historic city of tomorrow.	en
