heal.abstract	Η οικολογική κρίση έχει αλλάξει σε μεγάλο βαθμό και σε πολλά επίπεδα την σύγχρονη αντίληψη για την αρχιτεκτονική. Ωστόσο, τι συμβαίνει όταν μιλάμε για το υπάρχον κτιριακό απόθεμα και κυρίως για κατάλοιπα της βιομηχανικής μας ιστορίας? Όλο και μεγαλύτερη είναι η ανάγκη για επανένταξή τους στην ζωή της πόλης. Η ταυτότητα τους και οι αξίες που φέρουν πρέπει να διατηρηθούν αλλά και να συνυπάρξουν με τις ανάγκες του σήμερα, γεγονός που προϋποθέτει αποκατάσταση που θα σεβαστεί το παρελθόν τους. Για την επίτευξη μεγαλύτερης διάρκειας ζωής των βιομηχανικών μνημείων, το κλειδί της επιτυχίας βρίσκεται στη βελτίωση της βιοκλιματικής τους συμπεριφοράς, μέσα από σύγχρονα βιοκλιματικά συστήματα και την καλύτερη δυνατή προσαρμογή τους στο παλιό κέλυφος. Αυτό θα εξασφαλίσει τους καλύτερους δυνατούς όρους διαβίωσης των χρηστών, ενώ παράλληλα θα συμβάλλει στην προσέγγιση των νέων ενεργειακών στόχων. Η γεφύρωση των παραπάνω εννοιών αποδεικνύεται μέσα από τα αναλυόμενα παραδείγματα και επαναπροσδιορίζει την σύγχρονη αντίληψη για την βιωσιμότητα του κτιριακού δυναμικού.	el
heal.abstract	The environmental crisis has shaped the modern perception of architecture on many different levels and to a great extent. But what happens when it comes to formed built surroundings and especially important historic industrial remainings? While there is an increasing need for their reintegration into people’s life, the simultaneous demand for sustainable upgrading creates discomfort. The industrial monuments’ identity and values must be preserved and combined with society’s urging needs; therefore it requires heritage rehabilitation, mostly respecting to the past. The point of this lecture revolves around this thought above. The cooperation of these two different aspects is being proved through the analyzed examples’ environmental performance and modern sustainability and energy systems that efficiently adapt to the old skin. This ultimately ensures the best possible quality in users’ living conditions, while bringing the new energy consumption goals closer than ever. which redefines the modern perception of the sustainability of building potential.	en
