heal.abstract	Η μελέτη πραγματεύεται το ερώτημα του Ωραίου. Εντοπίζεται η σχέση μεταξύ αισθητικής και ηθικής. Παρουσιάζονται συνοπτικά οι βασικότερες διακριτές θεωρίες για το ωραίο στην αρχιτεκτονική: φονξιοναλισμός ως αναζήτηση του ωραίου στη χρησιμότητα, προσέγγιση μέσω της ιδέας του χώρου, τεχνο-ιστορικιστική προσέγγιση και δαρβινική προσέγγιση. Αναφέροντας τα τέσσερα αίτια κατά τον Αριστοτέλη, προτείνεται η υπόθεση ότι η διάσταση μεταξύ προνεωτερικής και νεωτερικής σκέψης βρίσκεται στην απέκδυση του ειδικού και του τελικού αιτίου και την αναγνώριση μόνο του υλικού και ποιητικού ως έγκυρα. Όλες οι νέες θεωρίες που προαναφέρθηκαν απορρίπτονται ως ανεπαρκείς για την πλήρη κατανόηση του Ωραίου. Στη συνέχεια, επιχειρείται η ψηλάφηση της φύσης της ίδιας της ανθρώπινης συνειδητότητας και εμπειρίας και με εργαλεία τη φαινομενολογία και τη φιλοσοφία του νου και προτείνεται ότι η φύση του νου είναι υπερβατική. Σε θεμελιώδες επίπεδο, στη σχέση επιθυμίας και γνώσης, στον ερωτικό προσανατολισμό του νου προς την κατανοητότητα του κόσμου αναζητείται η προέλευση του έργου τέχνης. Το Ωραίο περιγράφεται ως υπερβατική κατηγορία συνώνυμη του Καλού και του Αληθούς και άρα όρος που δείχνει προς το ίδιο το Είναι. Τέλος, εντοπίζεται η εμπειρία της τέρψης στην ίδια την εμφάνιση του είναι των όντων, ως υπενθύμιση της οντολογικής έκπληξης (πλατωνικό θαυμάζειν) και βίωμα οντολογικής δωρεάς.	el
heal.abstract	The study deals with the question of Beauty. The attempt is made to find the relation between aesthetics and ethics. The main distinct theories of Beauty in architecture are presented and outlined: functionalism as a quest to find beauty in utility, the theory of space, the art-historicist approach and the darwinian approach. Referring to the four causes according to Aristotle, the hypothesis is put forth that the principal difference between premodern and modern thought can be found in the expulsion of the formal and final causes and acknowledgement of the material and efficient causes as the only valid. All theories aforementioned are rejected as inadequate for the full understanding of Beauty. Then there’s an attempt to seek the nature of human consciousness, and using ideas and concepts borrowed from phenomenology and philosophy of mind, it is suggested that mind is an irreducible and transcendental phenomenon. In a fundamental level, in the way desire is related to knowledge, there’s a quest for the origins of the work of art. Beauty is described as a transcendental category synonymous to Goodness and Truth, as pointing towards Being itself. Finally, the pleasure of Beauty is found in the appearing of the being of beings, as an ontological surprise (platonic wonder) and experience of ontological donation.	en
