heal.abstract	Η Αθήνα είναι μια πόλη με έντονο ανάγλυφο και πυκνή δόμηση, όπου τα κτίρια δημιουργούν εκπληκτικές θεάσεις με τις διαφορές των υψών τους. Ωστόσο, τα δώματα, οι πιο προνομιούχοι χώροι των κτιρίων, όσον αφορά τις θεάσεις, παραμένουν αχρησιμοποίητοι και σε κακή κατάσταση εγκατάλειψης. Τα τελευταία χρόνια η Αθήνα κάνει έντονη την εμφάνιση της στο παγκόσμιο χάρτη τουρισμού κερδίζοντας επισκέπτες ακόμα και τους χειμερινούς μήνες. Αυτό οφείλεται σε μεγάλο βαθμό στις πλατφόρμες βραχυπρόθεσμης ενοικίασης (τύπου Airbnb), οι οποίες έχουν μετατρέψει τον αστικό τουρισμό σε μια οικονομική και άνετη λύση. Ο ταξιδιώτης έχει την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσει την πόλη προορισμού μέσα από το απόθεμα της ίδιας της πόλης, δηλαδή μέσα από τις γειτονιές, τις κατοικίες και τον πληθυσμό της. Ωστόσο, οι τεράστιες διαστάσεις αυτού του κοινωνικο-οικονομικού φαινομένου έφεραν σύντομα πρακτικές συνέπειες στις γειτονιές της πόλης όπως αυξήσεις ενοικίων, τουριστικά γκέτο κ.α. Αν λοιπόν συνδυάσουμε την πληθώρα των αχρησιμοποίητων δωμάτων της Αθήνας με την ανάγκη για επιπλέον χώρο κατοίκισης και στέγασης, μπορούμε εύκολα να οδηγηθούμε στη λύση όπου οι εγαταλελειμμένοι αυτοί χώροι χρησιμοποιούνται προς εξυπηρέτηση του τουρισμού. Η διπλωματική αυτή προτείνει το σχεδιασμό μίας ελαφριάς ημισφαιρικής κατασκευής που τοποθετείται στα δώματα και λειτουργεί σαν προσωρινή κατοικία. Αποτελείται από ελαφρυά και οικολογικά υλικά και είναι εύκολη στη συναρμολόγηση.Εσωτερικά διαθέτει τα απολύτως απαραίτητα και είναι ευέλικτη στη διαρρύθμιση. Λόγω του υλικού της (διαφανης μεμβράνη etfe) προσφέρει ανεμπόδιστη θέα στο αστικό τοπίο. Αναβαθμίζει την πέμπτη όψη της Αθήνας και προσφέρει ευκαιρίες για ένα νέο μοτίβο κατοίκησης.	el
heal.abstract	Athens is a city with intense relief and dense construction where the buildings create amazing views with the differences in their heights. However, the roofs, the most privileged areas of the buildings, with regard to sightings, remain unused and in a poor state of abandonment. In recent years, Athens has made its appearance on the world tourism map by attracting visitors even in the winter months. This is largely due to short-term rental (Airbnb type) platforms, which have transformed urban tourism into an economical and comfortable solution. The traveler has the opportunity to get to know the destination city through the city's own stock, through its neighborhoods, residences and population. However, the enormous dimensions of this socio-economic phenomenon soon brought practical consequences in the neighborhoods of the city such as rent increases, tourist ghettos, etc. So, if we combine the abundance of unused vessels in Athens with the need for additional living space and housing, we can easily lead to a solution where these disused spaces are used to serve tourism. This diploma thesis suggests the design of a light hemispherical structure placed on the rooftops and functioning as a temporary residence. It is made of light and eco-friendly materials and is easy to assemble. It has only the necessary interior furnishment and flexibility in the layout. Because of its material (transparent etfe membrane) it offers unobstructed views of the urban landscape. It upgrades the top view of Athens and offers opportunities for a new model of habitation.	en
