heal.abstract	Ο χώρος μνήμης είναι ένας χώρος συγκροτητικός για την κατασκευή της συλλογικής μνήμης και της ταυτότητας των κοινωνικών υποκειμένων. Είναι ένας χώρος που διαδραματίζει ενεργό ρόλο σε μία συνεχή δυναμική κατάσταση, όπου διακυβεύονται συγκρουόμενες εκβάσεις της κοινωνικής πραγματικότητας. Και για αυτό το λόγο είναι ένας χώρος υπό συνεχή διαπραγμάτευση• του βαθμού και του τρόπου εμπλοκής στον αναστοχασμό της κοινωνικής πράξης. Με αυτή την κατεύθυνση προσεγγίζεται η περιοχή του Μαραθώνα, ενός τόπου όπου υλικά και άυλα σημάδια φορτίζουν έντονα με μνήμες. Στην περιοχή του Μαραθώνα, ο Τύμβος των πεσόντων Αθηναίων Μαραθωνομάχων, έντονα φορτισμένος φαντασιακά και συμβολικά, συνδέεται με το χώρο των ιδεών της αρχαίας Αθηναϊκής δημοκρατίας και τα αγωνιστικά ιδεώδη, που εκφράστηκαν στη μάχη Αθηναίων και Πλαταιών εναντίων των Περσών το 490 π.Χ. Από εκείνη τη στιγμή και ύστερα, ο Μαραθώνας συγκινεί και εμπνέει, αγώνες για την Ελευθερία και τα Δημοκρατικά ιδεώδη και αποτελεί κρίσιμο πεδίο νοηματοδότησης. Η αξία του μνημείου του Τύμβου αναγνωρίζεται και θεσμικά και η συνθήκη προστασίας του εκφράζεται και στον υλικό χώρο και τη διαχείρισή του, μέσω περιφράξεων και μέσω ρητού καθεστώτος χρήσης• ρυθμισμένη περιπλάνηση, προσωρινή, τυποποιημένη επίσκεψη. Στην παρούσα εργασία, προτείνεται ένας άλλος τρόπος επαφής και αναφοράς στην εμπειρία της μνήμης, συμπληρωματικός στην υφιστάμενη διαχείριση. Προτείνεται ένας ανοιχτός, δημόσιος, κοινωνικός χώρος, όπου η συγκίνηση δεν παγιώνεται σε συγκεκριμένα, κυρίαρχα σχήματα αφήγησης. Η μνήμη δεν εγκιβωτίζεται σε υλικά κατάλοιπα, αλλά η μνήμη τελείται• συμβαίνει μέσα από τις κοινωνικές καταστάσεις και τις εκδηλώσεις, μέσα από τις αλληλεπιδράσεις των πολιτιστικών αποπειρών.	el
heal.abstract	A memorial is a constitutive space for the construction of the collective memory and the identity of social subjects. It is a place that plays an active role in a continuous dynamic situation where conflicting outcomes of social reality are in stake. Therefore, this is a place under continuous dialogue with reference to the degree and the way of engagement in the reflectiveness of the social action. This is the tendency and direction, according to which the area of Marathon, a place where the tangible and intangible marks and signs that excessively load memories driven from an emotional basis is approached. In the area of Marathon, the tomb of the Athenians killed in the battle of Marathon, an area emotionally involved both imaginarily and symbolically, is related to the ideas of the ancient Athenian democracy and the ideals of people who defended their territory, which were expressed in the battle of the Athenians and Plataeans against the Persians in 490 BC. From that moment onwards, the area of Marathon moves and inspires struggles for freedom and democratic ideals and constitutes a critical field of bestowal of meaning and of giving a sense of purpose. The value of the monument of the Tomb is also recognized authoritatively and the conditions of protection of it are expressed both in the material space and the management of it, through fences and through an explicit user status of controlled sightseeing and a brief, standard visit. In this paper, another way of contact and reference to the experience of memory is proposed, complementary to the existing management of the memorial. An open, public area of social character is proposed, wherein the emotion is not consolidated in particular, dominant narrative formats. The memory is not encased in material remains, but the memory is active and is being held through social situations and events, through the interactions of cultural attempts.	en
