heal.abstract	Τα χωριά Chereya και Belaya Tserkva βρίσκονται στη μέση του πουθενά στην ύπαιθρο της Λευκορωσίας. Παρ’ όλο που κατάφεραν να διατηρηθούν στο χάρτη από το 1500 μ.Χ., αποτέλεσαν για πολλά χρόνια “χωριά φαντάσματα”. Πρόσφατα, μια ομάδα δημιουργικών νέων εγκαταστάθηκε μόνιμα στην Belaya Tserkva, φέρνοντας πάλι πίσω τη ζωή. Προσπαθώντας να συμπαρασύρουν με τον ενθουσιασμό τους και τους λιγοστούς ντόπιους κατοίκους, επεδίωκαν συνεχώς μία ώσμωση και ένα διάλογο μαζί τους. Καρπός αυτής της προσπάθειας ήταν η πρωτοβουλία οργάνωσης ενός φεστιβάλ. Άνθρωποι όλων των ηλικιών ταξίδεψαν από την υπόλοιπη χώρα για να κατασκηνώσουν στον τόπο αυτό και να συμμετέχουν στις δράσεις του φεστιβάλ. Το πιο σημαντικό, όμως, είναι ότι οι ίδιοι οι ντόπιοι άρχισαν να αντιλαμβάνονται τη δυναμική του τόπου τους, τον οποίο είδαν να ζωντανεύει και να αναγεννάται. Το μονοήμερο φεστιβάλ πραγματοποιήθηκε με επιτυχία, εμπνέοντας στη συνέχεια και τη διοργάνωση ενός αρχιτεκτονικού εργαστηρίου, στο οποίο εμείς συμμετείχαμε. Στο ερώτημα από το πουθενά; συμπυκνώνονται όλοι οι προβληματισμοί μας από την προσωρινή μας κατοίκηση στα χωριά και ταυτόχρονα πυροδοτείται μία πολυεπίπεδη έρευνα για την χώρα της Λευκορωσίας, αναδεικνύοντας τη σημασία του τόπου, της ιστορίας και της μνήμης, την αξία της ανθρώπινης πρωτοβουλίας και κινητοποίησης σε ένα ιδιαίτερο κοινωνικοπολιτικό και χωρικό πλαίσιο. Τέλος, το ερώτημα αυτό υπονοεί ότι καθετί προϋποθέτει μία έναρξη, μια σπίθα καθώς τίποτα εν τέλει δε γεννιέται από το πουθενά.	el
heal.abstract	The villages Chereya and Belaya Tserkva are situated in the middle of nowhere in the countryside of Belarus. Although they still exist on the map since 1500 A.D, they’ve been considered as ghost villages for several years. Recently, a group of creative people moved permanently in Belaya Tserkva, bringing the village back to life. With their enthusiasm, they tried to affect the few remaining locals, through a constant dialogue and interaction with them. The product of their endeavor was the initiative of organizing a festival. People of all ages travelled from all over the country, inhabited the place and took part in the events of the festival. The most important thing, though, was that the locals themselves started to realize the potential of their village, by watching how this could gradually revive. The one-day festival was successfully organized, inspiring the concept and realization of an architectural workshop, in which we took part. Through the question out of nowhere? we express all of our thoughts, after our ephemeral inhabitance in the villages. At the same time, this question led to a multi-level research concerning the country of Belarus, in order to prove the importance of place, history and memory and also the value of human initiative and activation in a very specific social, political and spatial context. Closing, this question implies that everything presupposes a start and a spark, as nothing is born out of nowhere.	en
