heal.abstract	Στην παρούσα Διπλωματική Εργασία σκοπός είναι η προβολή των σημείων ενδιαφέροντος του Νομού Κέρκυρας μέσα από τον προσδιορισμό τριών Θεματικών Διαδρομών Εναλλακτικού Τουρισμού κάνοντας χρήση των Γεωπληροφοριακών Συστημάτων. Έπειτα από την βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση των βασικών κατηγοριών του Εναλλακτικού και του Ειδικού Τουρισμού, την αποσαφήνιση της έννοιας και της λειτουργίας των ΓΣ παρατίθεται η άμεση σύνδεση των ΓΣ με τον τουρισμό. Ακολουθεί η ανάλυση της περιοχής μελέτης ως προς τα μορφολογικά, δημογραφικά, ιστορικά χαρακτηριστικά και τις υποδομές του τουριστικού της προϊόντος, ο σχεδιασμός της γεωβάσης των Γ.Σ, η επεξεργασία και η ανάλυση των δεδομένων και τελικά η απεικόνιση των αποτελεσμάτων της σε χαρτογραφικό προϊόν. Μέσα από τον προσδιορισμό των Θεματικών Διαδρομών του Τουρισμού και την παραγωγή των τελικών Χαρτών συμπεραίνει κανείς την χρησιμότητα της Χρήσης των Γ.Σ στον κλάδο του Τουρισμού.	el
heal.abstract	The purpose of this study is to promote points of interest in the territory of Corfu through the designation of three thematic routes of Alternative Tourism using Geoinformation Systems (GIS). After the bibliographic review of the main categories of Alternative and Special Tourism and the clarification of the meaning and function of GIS, the direct link between GIS and Tourism ic cited. The analysis of the study area follows, as regards its morphological, demographic, historical characteristics and the infrastructure of the study area’s tourist product, the planning of the geodatabase in GIS, the processing and analysis of the data and finally their visualization in a cartographic product. Through the definition of the thematic routes of tourism and the production of the final maps, the importance of the use of GIS in the tourism industry is clearly making its point.	en
