heal.abstract	Η έρευνα αφορά την αναζήτηση πτυχωτών αρχιτεκτονικών μορφών με στόχο την ενεργοποίηση του χώρου ώστε να μετατραπεί σε ευέλικτος, δυναμικός και ρευστός. Η εφαρμογή γίνεται σε αστικά κενά του δομημένου περιβάλλοντος, δηλαδή στον υπολειπόμενο αρνητικό χώρο με σκοπό να τον καταστήσουμε ως θετικό. Το παράδειγμα της Κυψέλης, μέσα από την ανάλυση των ακαλύπτων και την εύρεση τυπολογίας αυτών, μπορεί να εφαρμοστεί σε οποιαδήποτε γειτονιά της Αθήνας. Κάθε προσβάσιμος ακάλυπτος πολεοδομικού τετραγώνου ενσωματώνεται σε ένα δίκτυο δημοσίου χώρου που απευθύνεται στους κατοίκους, ώστε να προσδιοριστεί εκ νέου ο χώρος ως δυναμικό στοιχείο ταυτότητας της γειτονιάς. Το αστικό κενό συνδέεται με τον κτισμένο χώρο και συμπληρώνει το αστικό περιβάλλον με χρήσεις που ορίζονται ανάλογα με τις ανάγκες της κάθε περιοχής. Η παρέμβαση γίνεται μέσω της μορφής origami. Οι αφηρημένες αυτές μορφές ως αρχιτεκτονική εφαρμογή είναι ευέλικτες λόγω της φύσης του χαρτιού και της γεωμετρίας τους. Η κατάλληλη μορφή origami, η ανάπτυξή της στον χώρο και η επιλογή του υλικού, αποτελούν κεντρικό άξονα της έρευνας. Διαθέτοντας χαρακτηριστικά που πληρούν ως ένα βαθμό τα κριτήρια του σχεδιασμού για μια ελαφριά, οικονομική και ευέλικτη κατασκευή, η μορφή origami επιτρέπει τον σχεδιασμό ενός ενεργού κοινόχρηστου δημοσίου χώρου.	el
heal.abstract	This thesis refers to research on foldable architectural forms with the purpose to activate the space on flexible, dynamic and fluid. The application of the research in urban voids of the constructed environment, which is the remaining negative space to transform it into a positive one. The example of Kypseli, through the analysis of the open voids between apartment buildings and the production of their typology, can be applied in any neighborhood of Athens. Each accessible open space of urban block is integrated into a net of public space addressed to each resident to produce space as a dynamic element of the neighborhood’s identity. The urban void is linked to the structured space and complements the urban environment with uses determined according to the needs of each region. Intervention is done through the origami form. These abstract forms as architectural applications are flexible due to the nature of paper and their geometry. The appropriate origami form, its production in space and the choice of the proper material, are central to the research. Featuring the characteristics that complete to a certain extent the design criteria for a light, economical and flexible construction, the origami form allows the design of a dynamic collective public space.	en
