heal.abstract	Η επιδίωξη της ερευνητικής αυτής εργασίας είναι ο εντοπισμός λογικών προσέγγισης που πιστεύω πως αποδίδουν ουσιαστικά την μουσική μέσω της αρχιτεκτονικής σύνθεσης. Στην έρευνά μου ξεκινώ από την ανάλυση της επικρατούσας κλασσικιστικής αντίληψης, εξετάζοντας τη σημερινή εφαρμογή της μέσα από τα αντιπροσωπευτικά παραδείγματα των Stretto House (1991) και Daeyang Gallery and House (2012) του γραφείου Steven Holl Architects. Στη συνέχεια παραθέτω τις απόψεις ιστορικών προσώπων που έρχονται σε ρήξη με την προσέγγιση του κλασσικισμού, σε μια προσπάθεια ανάδειξης των ελαττωμάτων αυτής και προχωρώ στην νεότερη και ουσιαστικότερη αντίληψη του Ρομαντισμού, την οποία και αναλύω μέσω του σύγχρονου παραδείγματος του Experience Music Project (EMP)(2000) του Frank Gehry. Η ανάλυση μετά προχωρά στα μονοπάτια του «Σύγχρονου Ρομαντισμού» (Σημείωση: δεν πρόκειται για καταγεγραμμένα δόκιμη ορολογία. Η επιλογή του όρου αυτού εξηγείται στο αντίστοιχο κεφάλαιο της εργασίας) και στην κτιριακή ενσάρκωση αυτού που αποτελεί το Jewish Museum του Daniel Libeskind, εισάγοντας παράλληλα την συμπληρωματική σε αυτόν έννοια της y-κατάστασης (y-condition), όπως αυτή ορίζεται στο ομότιτλο βιβλίο της Elizabeth Martin (1994). Το σύνολο των παραπάνω αναλύσεων οδηγεί στην εξαγωγή ορισμένων (προσωπικών κυρίως) συμπερασμάτων για την ένταξη και ερμηνεία της μουσικής στην αρχιτεκτονική σύνθεση και για τη δυναμική σχέση των δύο τεχνών.	el
heal.abstract	The purpose of this dissertation is to identify logical approaches that I personally think to be able to to deliver music effectively through architectural composition. In the research I will begin by analyzing the dominant classicistic conception, examining its contemporary application through the representative examples of Stretto House (1991) and Daeyang Gallery and House (2012), presented by Steven Holl Architects. I then quote the views of historical figures who disagree with the approach of classicism, in an attempt to highlight its shortcomings and proceed to the newer and more substantial conception of Romanticism, which I analyze through the contemporary example of the Experience Music Project (EMP) ( 2000) by Frank Gehry. The analysis then goes on the paths of "Contemporary Romanticism" (Note: this is not established terminology. The choice of this term is explained in the corresponding chapter of this paper) and its constructed embodiment, Daniel Libeskind’s Jewish Museum, while introducing the complementary (to this approach) concept of y-condition, as this is defined in Elizabeth Martin's (1994) homonymous book. All of the above research leads to some (mainly personal) conclusions on the incorporation and interpretation of music in the architectural composition and on the dynamic relationship between the two arts.	en
