heal.abstract	Η εργασία αφηγείται και προεκτείνει την ιστορία της Villa E-1027 της Eileen Gray και της αμφιλεγόμενης εμπλοκής του Le Corbusier σε αυτήν. Προσφέροντας μία πολύ προσωπική αφήγηση μιας πολύ προσωπικής ιστορίας, που επιχειρεί να αποδομήσει τη συνήθη ρητορική, γίνεται ευκρινής ο τρόπος με τον οποίο η queer επιθυμία προσκρούει στο σχεδιασμένο, φιλοσοφικό, αισθητικό και οικονομικό περιβάλλον της νεωτερικότητας. Η αφήγηση ολοκληρώνεται σε τρεις θεματικές ενότητες. Η πρώτη, εξετάζοντας το λειτουργικό πρόγραμμα της E-1027, όπως παρουσιάζεται στο κείμενο των αρχιτεκτόνων, θίγει μία σειρά από ζητήματα γύρω από τη σχέση λειτουργίας-ανάγκης και ταυτότητας-ατομικής επιθυμίας. Η δεύτερη εισάγει μία σειρά από αισθητικά θέματα, με γνώμονα τις έμφυλες αναπαραστάσεις, πρώτα στις σχέσεις της Gray και του Le Corbusier με τα queer δίκτυα του Παρισιού του 1920, ύστερα σε μία ανάλυση του «living space» της E-1027 σε παραπομπή με το αστικό boudoir του 19ου αιώνα και τέλος στο ύστερο ζωγραφικό έργο του Le Corbusier. Η τρίτη θεματική ενότητα καταπιάνεται με ζητήματα οικιακής οικονομίας σε αντιδιαστολή με το ζήτημα της τυποποίησης, εξετάζει κριτικά την διαχείριση της εσωτερικότητας και του τύπου στην E-1027 και έπειτα την οικονομία του Petit Cabanon. Επανασυστήνοντας το ενεργό, δυναμικό πεδίο αντιπαραθέσεων και προβληματισμών της Villa E-1027, η εργασία στοχάζεται παράλληλα εκ νέου την επιτακτική ανασύνταξη της έννοιας και της αξίας του «οικιακού», σήμερα.	el
heal.abstract	The project narrates and extends the story of Eileen Gray’s Villa E-1027 and the controversial involvement of Le Corbusier in it. Offering a very personal narrative of a very personal story, which attempts to deconstruct the common discourse, it becomes clear how queer desire intersects with the designed, philosophical, aesthetic and economic environment of modernity. The narrative is organized in three thematic units. By examining the functional program of E-1027, as it is proposed in the text of its architects, the first unit touches on a series of issues surrounding the relationships between function-need and identity-individual desire. The second unit introduces a series of aesthetic issues, centered around gendered representations, firstly in the interpersonal relationships of Eileen Gray and Le Corbusier with the queer networks of Paris in the 1920s, secondly in a proposed analysis of E-1027’s “living space” in reference to the 19th century boudoir and, finally, in Le Corbusier’s later painting work. The third thematic unit examines issues of domestic economy, in regard to the search for typology, problematizes questions of interiority and type in E-1027 as well as the economy of the Petit Cabanon. By reintroducing the active, dynamic field of arguments and concerns that is Villa E-1027, the project also contemplates on a crucial re-evaluation of the meaning and value of “domesticity”, today.	en
