heal.abstract	Ορμώμενες από την ανάγκη για μελέτη μιας αυτόνομης μονάδας στο φυσικό τοπίο, που να εξυπηρετεί άτομα ή ομάδες, οδηγηθήκαμε στη μελέτη των μεταβαλλόμενων κατασκευών. Ιστορικά η χρήση τέτοιών δομών διαρθρώθηκε σε τρείς περιόδους: την προϊστορική εποχή, την δεκαετία των 60s και 70s και το σήμερα. Μέσω της έρευνας οργανώσαμε τις μεταβαλλόμενες κατασκευές σε τρείς βασικές κατηγορίες με βάση τη μορφή τους, και παράλληλα επιλέξαμε να μελετήσουμε τη γεωμετρία των υπερβολοειδών επιφανειών. Η σύμπτυξη αυτών των δύο συστημάτων μας οδήγησε σε μορφές που ανοιγοκλείνουν οργανικά και στην επιλογή της μονάδας μας, το τριγωνικό υπερβολοειδές. Στη συνέχεια, πειραματιστήκαμε με την επανάληψη και τροποποίηση αυτής της μορφής, για τη παραγωγή πιο σύνθετων δομών. Ορίσαμε ως χρήστες τα παιδιά και ξεκινήσαμε να διαστασιολογούμε τη κατασκευή, να επιλέγουμε τα υλικά της και να βρίσκουμε το τρόπο πλήρωσης και σταθεροποίησης της. Η έρευνα επεκτάθηκε στη επίλυση των κόμβων, που θα επέτρεπαν την πολυπλοκότητα κινήσεων των κατασκευών αυτών και την ένωση πολλών μονάδων μεταξύ τους. Η διπλωματική ολοκληρώθηκε με την υλοποίηση του προπλάσματος της μονάδας σε πραγματική κλίμακα με συμβατικά υλικά.	el
heal.abstract	The present thesis started with the desire to develop an independent unit close to the human scale, for groups or individuals that travel or stay in the natural environment. At the beginning, the historical use of structural folding systems is analyzed in three main sections: the prehistorical times, the decades of 60s and 70s and the present times. Afterwards, we organize deployable structures in three main typologies according to form and analyze the geometry of doubly ruled hyperboloids. By combining the mechanism of scissor-hinge structures with the hyperboloid geometry we find that all the produced forms can open and close. We use the triangular hyperboloid as our unit and explore the different combinations of the same unit, to create complex forms. We then choose children to be our users and begin to set dimensions, choose materials and explore ways to cover and stabilize the different forms and structures. We move on to the design of the knots and hinges in a way that allows all kinds of movements that these forms, as well as their combinations, need in order to function properly. The thesis is completed with the construction of a unit in 1:1 scale with conventional materials.	en
