heal.abstract	Η Ελλάδα, πέρα από γεωγραφικό κόμβο ανατολής και δύσης αποτελεί και σταυροδρόμι μουσικών δρόμων και πολιτισμών. Η εκπαίδευση στην μουσική έχει πάρει πλέον επίσημο χαρακτήρα ξεκινώντας από το δημοτικό σχολείο και καταλήγοντας σε ακαδημαϊκές προπτυχιακές και μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές. Με την εξέλιξη του Τμήματος Λαϊκής και Παραδοσιακής Μουσικής στο Τ.Ε.Ι της Άρτας σε Τμήμα Μουσικών Σπουδών στο Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων, το νέο αυτό τμήμα έχει την ανάγκη από ένα σύγχρονο κτίριο που θα καλύπτει λειτουργικά και αισθητικά τη δραστηριότητά του. Η διπλωματική εργασία θα εστιάσει στον τρόπο με τον οποίο μπορεί να λειτουργήσει μια σύγχρονη και δημόσια Σχολή Μουσικών Σπουδών. Ενταγμένη σε ένα ιδιαίτερο τόπο: στα όρια της πόλης των Ιωαννίνων και φυσικό τοπίο: στην πλαγιά ενός λόφου. Θα παρουσιαστεί ο τρόπος με τον οποίο αφενός προσεγγίστηκε το θέμα και αφετέρου η συνθετική διαδικασία. Έγινε προσπάθεια να βρεθεί μια μεθοδολογία η οποία θα ακολουθούσε την επεξεργασία του θέματος σε κάθε στάδιο. Ο τρόπος εργασίας ξεκινά από την ανάλυση (οικόπεδο, ανάγκες, λειτουργίες) και καταλήγει στην πρόταση (έκφραση της ιδέας σε αρχιτεκτονικό χώρο).	el
heal.abstract	Greece has always been a geographic hub between the East and the West, but also a place, where different kinds of music and cultures coexist. Concerning the musical education of the country, it is becoming increasingly popular, as students have the opportunity to study music in high school, continue with Undergraduate studies and a Master’s degree. The newly established Department of Music Studies at the University of Ioannina, which replaced the Department of Traditional Music at the Technological Educational institute of Epirus, lacks a contemporary building that will functionally and aesthetically house its facilities. Our thesis will focus on the teaching methods that such a contemporary and public school of Music should adopt through its built and non-built environment. It is going to be located in a unique site and natural landscape; on the slope of hill just inside the city limits. Both our approach and the designing process will be presented, including the attempt to find a methodology that would follow the progress of the project at each stage. The project starts with the analysis, which involves the plot, the needs and the functions of the school, while it ends with the final proposal; the expression of the idea in architectural space.	en
