heal.abstract	Αντικείμενο μελέτης της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η ανάδειξη της σχέσης της Βιομηχανικής Κληρονομιάς στο Ruhr με το Χωρικό Σχεδιασμό και με τον Πολιτιστικό Τουρισμό. Η πρώτη σχέση φωτίζεται μέσα από το δεκαετές πρόγραμμα περιφερειακού σχεδιασμού, με τίτλο IBA Emscher Park, ενώ η σχέση της κληρονομιάς με τον τουρισμό, καθορίζεται υπό το πρίσμα της Διαδρομής της Βιομηχανικής Κληρονομιάς (Route der Industriekultur). Δόθηκε ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στην εμβάθυνση των θεωρητικών ζητημάτων, οπότε αναλύονται έννοιες, ορισμοί και πολεοδομικές πρακτικές σχετικές της βιομηχανικής κληρονομιάς και του πολιτιστικού τουρισμού. Έπειτα, το ενδιαφέρον εστιάζεται στο Θεσμικό Πλαίσιο της Βιομηχανικής Κληρονομιάς, το οποίο λειτουργεί ως σημείο αναφορά για τις παγκόσμια αναγνωρισμένες σωστές πρακτικές διαχείρισης της κληρονομιάς –οι οποίες είναι ταξινομημένες θεματικά ως Κοινές Κατευθύνσεις. Στο δεύτερο σκέλος της εργασίας, μελετήθηκε η περίπτωση μελέτης του Ruhr: από το βιομηχανικό παρελθόν της και τις επιπτώσεις αυτού στην ανάπτυξή του, στο τοπικό σύστημα σχεδιασμού και τους «παίκτες» της τοπικής σκηνής, μέχρι τις προγενέστερες προσπάθειες διαχείρισης της βιομηχανικής κληρονομιάς και τα περιφερειακά προγράμματα για την αντιμετώπιση της δομικής αλλαγής. Συνδυάζοντας τα ιδιαίτερα δεδομένα του Ruhr με τις Κοινές Κατευθύνσεις του Θεσμικού Πλαισίου της Βιομηχανικές Κληρονομιάς, προκύπτουν τρία Κριτήρια Αξιολόγησης της Διαχείρισής της. Έπειτα, πραγματοποιείται η παρουσίαση των Πορισμάτων και η ερευνητική μελέτη ολοκληρώνεται με μία κριτική αποτίμηση της συνολικής Διαχείρισης της Βιομηχανικής Κληρονομιάς στο Ruhr.	el
heal.abstract	The purpose of this study was to highlight the correlation between Industrial Heritage, Spatial Planning and Cultural Tourism in the Ruhr area. Theses relations are presented through the IBA Emscher Park, a ten-year-old program of regional planning, and the Industrial Heritage Trail of Ruhr. Special attention was given to the profound study of theoretical issues. Thus, concepts, definitions and urban policies related to Industrial Heritage and Cultural Tourism were analyzed. Also important for the research was the Institutional Framework of Industrial Heritage, which functions as a point of reference for the internationally acknowledged good practices of managing heritage. These recommendations are then sorted in thematic categories, as Common Directions. In the second part of the study, the focus was placed on the Ruhr area –beginning from the industrial past and its consequences in the regional development, following the analysis of the local planning system and the local stakeholders, and finally presenting the regeneration efforts and the management of industrial culture prior to the program IBA Emscher Park. Through the synthesis of the specific characteristics of the case study with the Common Directions of the Institutional Framework of Industrial Heritage, three criteria for the evaluation of the management of said heritage were created. In the third and final part, the findings of the criteria of evaluation are presented, followed by a critical assessment of the management of Industrial Heritage in the Ruhr area.	en
