heal.abstract	Αντικείμενο της παρούσας διπλωματικής αποτελεί η διερεύνηση και καταγραφή του Αρκαδικού τοπίου και η αναβίωση του παραδοσιακού οικισμού της Ελάτης Αρκαδίας, με αφορμή και εργαλείο ένα δίκτυο μονοπατιών, το Menalon Trail. Πρόθεση είναι η ενίσχυση του κεντρικού άξονα του οικισμού επανασχεδιάζοντας τους δυο υπάρχοντες κεντρικούς πυρήνες, δηλαδή την εκκλησία και το παλαιό σχολείο, και η δημιουργία ενός τρίτου πυρήνα στην απόληξη του άξονα. Συγκεκριμένα, στον πρώτο πυρήνα προτείνεται ο επανασχεδιασμός του κεντρικού πλατώματος με στόχο να αποτελέσει κοινωνικό πυκνωτή για τους κατοίκους του οικισμού αλλά και τους επισκέπτες. Επιπλέον, επανασχεδιάζεται η αφετηρία του Menalon Trail, προτείνεται λειτουργία καφέ και χαράσεται άμεση πορεία προς τον Ι.Ν. Αγίας Βαρβάρας. Στον δεύτερο πυρήνα, το παλαιό σχολείο επαναχρησιμοποιείται ως μουσείο του οικισμού. Η ανάβαση από τον κεντρικό άξονα γίνεται άμεσα, επανασχεδιάζεται το πλάτωμα και τοποθετείται διαδραστική έκθεση-αναπαράσταση του “καταρράκτη”, που είναι ο παραδοσιακός τρόπος κοπής σανίδας. Τέλος, ο τρίτος πυρήνας δημιουργείται στην απόληξη του κεντρικού άξονα και σχεδιάζονται καταλύματα για τους περιπατητές του Menalon Trail αλλά και τους επισκέπτες του οικισμού. Συγκεκριμένα, προτείνεται ένας χώρος διημέρευσης, παρασκευής φαγητού και χώρου συγκέντρωσης και τρεις ξενώνες δυναμικής 24 κλινών. Σχεδιάζεται το πλάτωμα καθώς και η ανάβαση από τον κετρικό άξονα του οικισμού.	el
heal.abstract	The subject of this thesis is the exploration and recording of the Arcadian landscape and the revival of the traditional settlement of Elati Arcadia, with the occasion and tool of a network of paths, the Menalon Trail. The intention is to strengthen the central axis of the settlement by redesigning the two existing central cores, the church and the old school, and to create a third core at the axis terminus. Specifically, in the first core it is proposed to redesign the central plateau to be a social capacitor for the inhabitants of the settlement, as well as for the visitors. In addition the Menalon Trail starting point is redesigned, a coffee shop is proposed and a direct route to the Saint Barbara church has been designed. In the second core, the old school is being reused as a settlement museum. Ascent from the central axis is done immediately, the plateau is redesigned and an interactive exhibition-representation of the "waterfall", which is the traditional way of cutting the board. Finally, the third core is created at the end of the main axis and accommodations for Menalon Trail hikers and visitors to the settlement are planned. Specifically, a space to spend the day, food preparation, gathering space and three guest houses with 24-bed is proposed. The plateau is planned as well as the ascent from the central axis of the settlement.	en
