heal.abstract	Το αντικείμενο της διπλωματικής εργασίας αφορά την ανάκτηση του νότιου λιμενικού μετώπου στην πόλη της Μυτιλήνης και την επανάχρηση του παλαιού δημοτικού κολυμβητηρίου. Μέσω μίας υπόθεσης εργασίας για μετεγκατάσταση των λιμενικών δραστηριοτήτων της πόλης εκτός πολεοδομικού κέντρου, εξετάζεται η δυναμική του νότιου λιμένα, καθώς και ο μηχανισμός επανένταξής του στο αστικό περιβάλλον. Στόχος της θεματικής είναι ο σχεδιασμός ενός συνόλου δημόσιων χώρων, επαναπροσδιορίζοντας τον ρόλο του παραλιακού μετώπου της πόλης της Μυτιλήνης, ενώ ταυτόχρονα επιδιώκεται η δημιουργία ενός συστήματος πόλων έλξης, το οποίο θα λειτουργήσει ως πυκνωτής ροών εντός του αστικού περιβάλλοντος, ενισχύοντας το πολιτιστικό δίκτυο της πόλης. Ταυτόχρονα εξετάζονται οι προοπτικές του κτηριακού δυναμικού της περιοχής επεξεργασίας και προτείνονται νέες χρήσεις, αποσκοπώντας στην επανένταξη του νότιου παραλιακού μετώπου στην πόλη	el
heal.abstract	The subject of the thesis concerns the recovery of the southern port front in the town of Mytilene and the reuse of the old swimming stadium. A working case for relocating the city's port activities outside the city center, examines the dynamics of the southern port as well as the mechanism for its reintegration into the urban environment. The purpose of the theme is to design a set of public spaces, redefining the role of the coastal front of the town of Mytilene, while aiming at creating a system of attraction poles that will function as a movement capacitor within the urban environment, enhancing the cultural network of the city. At the same time, the prospects of the processing area are being examined and new uses are proposed, targeting the reintegration of the southern coastal front into the town.	en
