heal.abstract	Η διπλωματική εργασία επιχειρεί την ένταξη μιας λειτουργίας που συνδέει την ιστορία της βιομηχανικής ζώνης της Δραπετσώνας και το παρόν με μια βιώσιμη φιλοσοφία, εστιάζοντας στον τομέα του σχεδιασμού και των κατασκευών, και θεωρώντας τον αστικό ιστό ως μια ανεξάντλητη πηγή υλικών (σύμφωνα με τη λογική του urban mining). Στις πρώην εγκαταστάσεις της BP χωροθετείται ένα κέντρο επεξεργασίας Αποβλήτων Κατασκευών και Κατεδαφίσεων (ΑΕΚΚ), καθώς και ένα ερευνητικό κέντρο με δημόσιο χαρακτήρα. Η πειραματική βιομηχανική μονάδα χαμηλής όχλησης, μπορεί να αποτελέσει ένα παράδειγμα για τη δημιουργία αντίστοιχων σε όλη την Αττική, συσχετιζόμενη μέσω του ερευνητικού κέντρου και με το σχεδιασμό προϊόντων, την ανάπτυξη νέων φιλικών προς το περιβάλλον υλικών και την εκπαίδευση του κοινού σχετικά την ανακύκλωση και την κυκλική οικονομία. Το πεδίο μελέτης θέτει παράλληλα το ζήτημα της ένταξης και επανάχρησης του υπάρχοντος κτηριακού αποθέματος, ενώ μέσω της λογικής της κυκλικής οικονομίας ερευνήθηκαν επίσης ο σχεδιασμός για αποσυναρμολόγηση και η δημιουργία ενός πρότυπου συστήματος ταυτότητας υλικού. Ταυτόχρονα, σκοπός είναι να παρουσιαστεί μία πρόταση επαναπροσδιορισμού των εγκαταλελειμένων βιομηχανικών χώρων, με μία ομαλή μετάβαση από την εγκατάλειψη της βιομηχανίας στον μετασχημασμό των χώρων με χρήσεις που απευθύνονται παράληλλα και στους κατοίκους της εκάστοτε περιοχής, χωρίς να αποκόπτονται από την αρχική τους λειτουργία.	el
heal.abstract	The following master thesis attempts to integrate a function that connects the history of the industrial zone of Drapetsona and the present with a sustainable philosophy, focusing on the field of design and construction, and considering the urban fabric as an inexhaustible source of materials (according to urban mining). In the former facilities of BP, the thesis proposes a center for recycling Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW), as well as a research center oriented towards the public. The experimental industrial unit could be an example for the creation of more units in Attica, associated because of the research center with product design, the development of new environmentally friendly materials and education of the public on recycling and circular economy. The field also raises the issue of integration and adaptive reuse of the existing buildings, while according to the purposes of circular economy, design for disassemble and the creation of a material passport system were also considered. Moreover, the aim is to present a proposal for the redefinition of abandoned industrial sites, following a smooth transition from the abandonment of industry to the transformation of sites with functions that are addressed in parallel to the residents of each area, without being cut off from their original character.	en
