heal.abstract	Σε προηγούμενη εργασία μας (Περιγραφές Χωρικών Μετασχηματισμών, Φεβρουάριος 2019) αναλύσαμε την θεωρία του Space Syntax και την γλώσσα των προτύπων του Christopher Alexander. Τα εργαλεία αυτά αποτελούν δυο βασικούς τρόπους περιγραφής των χωρικών σχέσεων: έναν μετρικό και έναν αναλογικό. Ο μετρικός προκύπτει μέσα από την ανάλυση Space Syntax, όπου χρησιμοποιούνται μαθηματικές εξισώσεις και προκύπτουν συγκεκριμένες τιμές, σύμφωνα με την τοπολογική θέση των χώρων. Ο αναλογικός προκύπτει μέσα από παραδείγματα και εμπειρίες, όπως αυτές που συνοψίζονται στα «Patterns» του Alexander. Δεδομένου ότι ο χαρακτήρας του κάθε χώρου προκύπτει από τον τόπο στον οποίο βρίσκεται, αλλά και από τον συσχετισμό του με τους υπόλοιπους χώρους του συστήματος, τότε προκύπτει το ερώτημα: πώς μπορούμε να εκμεταλλευτούμε τους τρόπους περιγραφής των χωρικών χαρακτηριστικών που αναφέραμε, ως «εργαλεία» κατά τη σχεδιαστική διαδικασία, προκειμένου να δημιουργηθούν κανόνες για πιο στοχευμένο σχεδιασμό; Η διπλωματική μας εργασία στηριζόμενη στο υλικό που αναλύθηκε πιο πάνω, χρησιμοποιεί τα εργαλεία με στόχο τον σχεδιασμό ενός πλέγματος δραστηριοτήτων στην Πολυτεχνειούπολη Ζωγράφου. Ασχολούμαστε, λοιπόν, με την ιεράρχηση των χωρικών χρήσεων και συσχετισμών, υπό μορφή δικτύων, ως προς τους βαθμούς συνεύρεσης, με σκοπό να καταλήξουμε σε συγκεκριμένο κέλυφος - υπόβαθρο, το οποίο θα τις υποστηρίζει. Πειραματιζόμαστε, ουσιαστικά, με τη βοήθεια των εργαλείων Space Syntax και τα πρότυπα του Christopher Alexander, και εξετάζουμε την επίδραση των χωρικών χαρακτηριστικών, στη χάραξη ενός κέντρου ψυχαγωγίας και στη διαμόρφωση κτιριακών κελυφών φοιτητικών κατοικιών.	el
heal.abstract	In our previous work (Descriptions of Spatial Transformation, February 2019) we analyzed Space Syntax theory and the language of Christopher Alexander’s models. These tools are two basic ways of describing spatial relationships: one metric and one analog. The metric is derived from the Space Syntax analysis, where mathematical equations are used and specific values are derived, according to the topological position of the spaces. Analog comes from examples and experiences, such as those summarized in Alexander’s “Patterns”. Since the character of each space arises from the place in which it is located, and from its association with the rest of the system, the question then arises: how can we exploit the ways of describing the spatial char¬acteristics we have mentioned as “tools” during the design process in order to create rules for more targeted design? Our dissertation, based on the material discussed above, uses the tools to design a network of activities at the Zografou National Technical University of Athens. We, therefore, examine the hierarchy of spatial uses and correlations, as networks, according to the degree of concen-tration, in order to come up with a specific shell - background that will support them. We are experimenting, essentially, with the tools of Space Syntax and Christopher Alexander’s models, and examining the effect of spatial features on designing an entertainment center and student housing buildings.	en
