heal.abstract	Αφετηρία της εργασίας αποτελεί η υπόθεση ότι οι χώροι που παράγονται μέσω της επεξεργασίας της τομής, και ειδικά με στόχο να ελεγχθεί το φυσικό φως που εισέρχεται στο κτίριο, έχουν ιδιαίτερο αρχιτεκτονικό ενδιαφέρον. Μεθοδολογικά, η επεξεργασία του θέματος γίνεται μέσω θεωρητικής μελέτης βιβλιογραφίας, καθώς και πρακτικής διερεύνησης συγκεκριμένων παραδειγμάτων. Ως περιπτώσεις μελέτης, επιλέγονται οι Le Corbusier και Peter Zumthor, καθώς και οι δύο αρχιτέκτονες ενδιαφέρονται για το φως και την τομή, γεγονός που φαίνεται τόσο από το γραπτό τους έργο, όσο και από τη μέθοδο εργασίας τους και το τελικό τους αρχιτεκτονικό αποτέλεσμα. Επιλέγονται, λοιπόν, δύο κτίρια διαφορετικής κλίμακας, από τον καθένα (μονή La Tourette και εκκλησία στο Firminy από τον Le Corbusier, κτίριο ιαματικών λουτρών στο Vals και μελέτη για την εκκλησία Herz Jesu στο Μόναχο από τον P.Zumthor). Η ανάλυση των κτιρίων οργανώνεται με βάση μια αναλυτική διάκριση κάποιων βασικών εργαλείων: το μέγεθος ενός ανοίγματος, η εισαγωγή του φωτός από πάνω ή από πλευρικό άνοιγμα, ο προσανατολισμός του ανοίγματος, η δημιουργία ανοίγματος σε μια επιφάνεια μέσω διάτρησης, η πρωτότυπη επεξεργασία της τομής ώστε να εισάγεται μια συγκεκριμένη ποσότητα και ποιότητα φωτός, η κλίση του ανοίγματος, η απομάκρυνση στοιχείων ώστε να περάσει το φως από το μεταξύ τους κενό, η δημιουργία ανοίγματος με προεξοχή (δημιουργία δέσμης), η αξιοποίηση του πάχους του τοίχου στην επεξεργασία της τομής και τέλος η προσθήκη χρώματος στο άνοιγμα, επηρεάζοντας το φυσικό φως που μπαίνει σε ένα χώρο.	el
heal.abstract	This research is based on the assumption that the spaces that have been produced through the elaboration of their section, and specifically those aiming to control the natural light entering the building, are of particular architectural interest. Methodologically, the topic is approached through, both, a theoretical study based on literature and a practical exploration of specific key studies. Le Corbusier and Peter Zumthor are chosen to be cross-examined since both architects have shown interest in light through section, as it is evidenced in their written work, their method of design and their constructed architecture. Two sets of buildings are crossexamined for each case (La Tourette Convent and Church in Firminy for Le Corbusier, Therme Bath Building in Vals and Study of Herz Jesu Church in Munich for Zumthor). The analysis of the buildings is based upon a set of analytical tools: the processing of the opening, the insertion of light from above or a side opening, the orientation of the opening, the opening of an aperture to a surface through perforation, the original-specific processing of the section to introduce a specific amount and quality of light, the angle of the opening, the entering of light through the absence of an element, the opening of a protruding aperture to direct the light (beam), the utilization of wall thickness during section processing and finally the addition of color to opening, are all elements that affect the way that natural light enters space through section.	en
