heal.abstract	Στα περίχωρα των μεγάλων πόλεων της Γαλλίας βρίσκονται τα Banlieurs, τα προάστια. Πρόκειται για ένα στιγματισμένο τόπο εκ-τοπισμού με χαρακτηριστικά αποκλέισμού για αστικούς θυλάκους διαχωρισμένους από τη μητρόπολη σχεδόν σαν ξεχωριστές πόλεις με συγκροτήματα εργατικών κατοικιών που στεγάζουν, σε μεγάλο βαθμό, πληθυσμό μεταναστών από τις πρώην αποικίες της. Στο Παρίσι, η Boulevard Peripherique η Λεοφόρος του Παρισιού, κατασκευασμένη το 1954 χωρίζει τα banlieurs - αποτελεί ένα όριο υλικό, οπτικό, συμβολικό. Η χωρική περιθωριοποίηση αποτελεί μέρος της γενικότερης περιθωριοποίησης που βιώνουν μετανάστες στο Παρίσι, σε επίπεδο κοινωνικό, οικονομικό, συμβολικό. Στη συνείδηση πολλών Γάλλων, ο όρος Banlieur είναι ταυτισμένος με εγκληματικότητα και απειλή.	el
heal.abstract	On the outskirts of the biggest French cities, are the ‘’banlieues’’ - the french suburbs. The banlieues are a stigmatised, excluded place, with social housing blocks, with population mainly composed of migrants from the former french colonies. The banlieues are ‘’constructed’’ gradually into a threat, through means of representation, mainly through the public discourse of the politicians and the media. On the other side, there are the ‘’narratives’’ of the residents: personal testimonies, rap lyrics written by rappers who are banlieue residents, that talk about the banlieues, but also through the riots, that function as a ‘’desperate’’ voice of criticism. The rap narratives are of significant importance - through them, the residents ‘’reply’’ to the mainstream discourse - those narratives constitute the ‘’public speaking’’ of the banlieues. The relation of the banlieues with the colonial past of France is an essential framework for those two groups of ‘’narratives’’. In the contemporary postcolonial context, the echo of colonialism can be traced in multiple fields: regarding the history of the creation of the social housing at the banlieues, but also the contemporary discourse about the banlieues - this past consist of a ‘’wound’’ on the collective conscience of the residents of the banlieues.	en
