heal.abstract	Το πλαίσιο μελέτης της εργασίας αφορά στο σύγχρονο αστικό περιβάλλον. Ένα περιβάλλον που περιγράφεται συχνά ως ένα δυναμικό και σύνθετο κοινωνικοοικονομικό και ανθρώπινο οικοσύστημα, όπου η δομή και η μορφή του αντανακλώνται στην ποιότητα ζωής των κατοίκων. Βρίσκεται σε μια συνεχή ροή, ωστόσο το τεχνητά διαμορφωμένο περιβάλλον, εξακολουθεί να είναι σταθερό και άκαμπτο και κυρίως μη συμμετέχον. Η σκιαγράφηση της εικόνας της σύγχρονης πόλης, ιδιαίτερα από την σκοπιά της περιβαλλοντικής υποβάθμισης, αναδεικνύει την ανάγκη επαναπροσδιορισμού των αρχιτεκτονικών πρακτικών με στόχο τη βελτίωση του περιβαλλοντικού ισοζυγίου. Το κτίριο ως βασικό στοιχείο του συστήματος της πόλης και ο σχεδιασμός του με βιοκλιματικά κριτήρια επηρεάζει το περιβαλλοντικό αποτύπωμα. Το κέλυφος είναι το πρώτο και πιο κρίσιμο στοιχείο που ελέγχει την επιρροή του περιβάλλοντος στις εσωτερικές συνθήκες αλλά και την σχέση του ιδίου με τις εξωτερικές. Στο σύγχρονο αστικό περιβάλλον λοιπόν «αιωρείται» η ανάγκη εξεύρεσης σύγχρονων λύσεων. Εξετάζονται λοιπόν, οι δυνατότητες που προσφέρει η μεταβαλλόμενη αρχιτεκτονική, σε μια περίοδο που χαρακτηρίζεται από την ανάπτυξη των αυτοματισμών, της πληροφορικής και της ψηφιακής τεχνολογίας. Η διάλεξη υποστηρίζει πως η προσαρμοστικότητα του κελύφους μπορεί να συμβάλει πιο αποτελεσματικά, στη βελτίωση της ενεργειακής αποτελεσματικότητας, σε σχέση με ένα κτίριο που είναι αποτέλεσμα συμβατικού τρόπου σχεδίασης.	el
heal.abstract	The modern urban environment is often described, as a dynamic and complex socio-economic and human ecosystem, the form and structure of which, is reflected upon the quality of the citizens’ life. It is in a constant flux, however the technical environment is still stable and rigid and mostly non-participating. The analysis of the modern urban landscape, emphasizing on the environmental downgrade, raises the concern of conventional architectural practices to be reevaluated, through the scope of environment balance. The building as a key element of the city system and its design with bioclimatic criteria affects the environmental footprint. The building skin is, the first and most critical element that controls the influence of the environment on the internal conditions and the relationship of the latest with external conditions. In today’s urban environment the need for modern solutions is more than urgent. The possibilities offered by the changing architectural practices are examined, in the context of a period being characterized by the development of automations, information technology and digital technology. The paper argues that the adaptability of building skins, can help to improve energy efficiency more effectively than a building that is the result of a conventional design.	en
