heal.abstract	Ο προσφυγικός οικισμός της Νέας Φιλαδέλφειας παρουσιάζει ενδιαφέρον τόσο ιστορικά όσο και πολεοδομικά, αλλά και στο επίπεδο της διατήρησης της κλίμακας και των λειτουργιών της παλιάς γειτονιάς. Με βάση το παραπάνω μας προβλημάτισε η σημερινή μορφή στην οποία έχει περιέλθει ο οικισμός. Είναι διακριτές αρκετές «αντιφάσεις» που μας έκαναν να αναρωτηθούμε ποιοι είναι οι παράγοντες που συνέβαλλαν στη διαμόρφωση του σημερινού χαρακτήρα και κατ’ επέκταση στην εικόνα του. Καθοριστικό παράγοντα σε αυτές αποτελεί, η ανέγερση του Νέου γηπέδου της ΑΕΚ μέσα στον πυρήνα του ιστορικού οικισμού. Φαίνεται πως η συγκεκριμένη συνθήκη έχει επηρεάσει σε μεγάλο βαθμό αρκετούς τομείς της ζωής της περιοχής (π.χ η κυκλοφορία, η αλλαγή των χρήσεων γης, κ.α.) Ξεκινάμε τη μελέτη μας από τα αίτια δημιουργίας των «προσφυγικών ροών», δηλαδή την ύπαρξη ιμπεριαλιστικών πολέμων και το ιστορικό-οικονομικό πλαίσιο της εποχής. Στη συνέχεια καταγράφουμε την κατάσταση στην οποία βρισκόταν η Ελλάδα και η Αθήνα κατά την προσφυγική έλευση, τόσο σε επίπεδο οικονομίας, όσο και σε επίπεδο χωροταξικού σχεδιασμού και τρόπων εγκατάστασης. Κλείνοντας, αναλύουμε την εξέλιξη του προσφυγικού οικισμού της Νέας Φιλαδέλφειας, χωρίζοντάς τον σε οικιστικές περιόδους. Συγκεκριμένα θα δούμε από το θεσμικό πλαίσιο μέχρι και τις τυπολογίες των κτιρίων στο βαθμό που εξελίσσονται ανά χρονική περίοδο μέχρι σήμερα.	el
heal.abstract	The New Philadelphia refugee settlement is of great interest both historically and in terms of urban planning, as it maintains a smaller human scale neighborhood, reminiscent of older times. As architects, we were concerned about the current situation and form of life in the settlement. There are several "contradictions" that made us wonder what are the factors that contributed to the formation of the current character of the settlement and consequently to its image. A decisive impact factor was the construction of the New Stadium of AEK within the core of the historic settlement. It seems that this condition has greatly affected several areas of life in the district (traffic, alterations in the use of land, etc.). In the beginning of our study we examine the deeper causes of "refugee flows", the impact of imperialist wars and the historical-economic context of the time. Next we analyze the circumstances in which Greece and specifically Athens were at the time of the refugee arrival, both in terms of economy, as well as in terms of spatial planning. In conclusion, we analyze the evolution of the New Philadelphia refugee settlement, classifying it into discrete residential periods which vary in their characteristics, examining the factors like the legal and institutional framework, the building typologies that were developed and their evolution through time.	en
