heal.abstract	Η διατριβή αυτή αποτελεί μια προσπάθεια διερεύνησης της μορφής που παίρνει η σχέση της αρχιτεκτονικής με το υποκείμενο για το οποίο προορίζεται, τον χρήστη της, όταν η πρώιμη νεωτερικότητα διατυπώνει νέα ερωτήματα γύρω από την φύση του ανθρώπου που ανασχηματίζουν τον κοινωνικό ρόλο της αρχιτεκτονικής, την ηθική, πολιτισμική και γνωσιολογική της σημασία. Ο προβληματισμός αυτός αναπτύσσεται με τη βοήθεια της αρχαίας ιδέας της φιλοσοφίας ως «αγωγής» της ψυχής του Pierre Hadot και τη σύνδεσης της, μέσα στην σύγχρονη βιβλιογραφία, με την νέα πειραματική φυσική φιλοσοφία ως μια μορφή θεραπείας της ψυχής. Υπό αυτό το πρίσμα, η παρούσα διατριβή αναζητά τρόπους με τους οποίους η Επιστημονική Επανάσταση επηρέασε την αρχιτεκτονική σκέψη, εστιάζοντας στον αρχιτέκτονα Claude Perrault. Αυτό το παράδειγμα επιτρέπει να διερευνήσουμε την νέα αρχιτεκτονική που προβάλλει επιφορτισμένη με τις σύγχρονες εντάσεις ανάμεσα στην πνευματική και την σωματική κατάσταση, και αμφιταλαντεύεται ανάμεσα στην τέχνη του βίου και τις εκφάνσεις της μοντέρνας επιστημονικής σκέψης. Ο Perrault εξετάζει τη σχέση μεταξύ σώματος και ψυχής χρησιμοποιώντας σαν εργαλείο την νέα φυσική ιστορία, την εμπειρική παρατήρηση και την ανατομία. Με αυτά τα εργαλεία προσπαθεί να προσεγγίσει το νόημα της αρχιτεκτονικής μορφής για τον αποδέκτη της μέσω πρακτικών που δεν στοχεύουν αποκλειστικά στην εδραίωση της αρχιτεκτονικής ως κλάδου των μαθηματικών και βέβαιων γνώσεων, αλλά λειτουργούν μέσα από μια αναλογία με την ιατρική ματιά, έτσι ώστε, όπως στην περίπτωση της αρχαίας φιλοσοφίας επίσης, η αρχιτεκτονική αναγνωρίζει τις επιρροές των πραγμάτων και θεραπεύει τα πάθη που μας γεννούν. Αυτό που αναζητείται μέσα από αυτούς τους μηχανισμούς είναι μια ενοποιημένη μορφή μάθησης, που αποτελεί τη βάση για την βελτίωση του ατόμου και μια «οικονομία» που προσφέρει την ευκαιρία να δώσουμε μια τάξη στην προσωπική εμπειρία και να ενισχύσουμε τον προσωπικό ρόλο του αποδέκτη. Τέλος, με αυτά τα εργαλεία, μελετάται η μορφή του αρχιτεκτονικού ρυθμού μέσα από μια ανάλυση σε πίνακες, ώστε να οργανωθεί μια άσκηση της παρατήρησης και της προσοχής. Η άσκηση αυτή έχει στόχο την εξοικείωση του υποκειμένου σε ένα καλύτερο έλεγχο πάνω στις εντυπώσεις που λαμβάνει από την εμπειρία, τις εντυπώσεις που επιλέγει να εστιάσει, και τις επιρροές που αποδίδει στα κτίρια και στο περιβάλλον του. Αυτή η αρχιτεκτονική «αγωγή» της ψυχής βρίσκει το μοντέρνο της πρόσωπο στην φροντίδα «ολόκληρου» του ανθρώπου και δεν επιδιώκει την ακύρωση του ιδιοσυγκρασιακού στοιχείου από απρόσωπες, επιστημονικές μεθόδους.	el
heal.abstract	This dissertation is an attempt to explore the form that the relationship of architecture takes with the subject for which it is intended, its user, when early modernity formulates new questions about human nature that reshape the social role of architecture, its ethical, cultural and epistemological significance. This reflection is developed with the help of the ancient idea of philosophy as "regimen" of the soul of Pierre Hadot and its connection, in modern literature, with the new experimental natural philosophy as a form of healing of the soul. In this light, the present dissertation looks at ways in which the Scientific Revolution influenced architectural thought, focusing on the architect Claude Perrault. This example allows us to explore the new architecture that rises charged with modern tensions between the mental and the physical state, and oscillates between the art of living and the manifestations of modern scientific thought. Perrault examines the relationship between body and soul using new natural history, empirical observation and anatomy as tools. With these tools he tries to approach the meaning of the architectural form for its recipient through practices that do not aim exclusively at consolidating architecture as a branch of mathematics and certain knowledge, but operate through an analogy with the medical eye, so that, as in the case of ancient philosophy as well, architecture recognizes the influences of things and heals the passions that give birth to us. What is sought through these mechanisms is a unified form of learning, which is the basis for the improvement of the individual and an "economy" that offers the opportunity to give a class to personal experience and to strengthen the personal role of the recipient. Finally, with these tools, the form of architectural rhythm is studied through a table analysis, in order to organize an exercise of observation and attention. This exercise aims to familiarize the subject with a better control over the impressions he receives from the experience, the impressions he chooses to focus on, and the influences he attributes to the buildings and the environment. This architectural "education" of the soul finds its modern face in the care of the "whole" man and does not seek the annulment of the temperamental element by impersonal, scientific methods.	en
