heal.abstract	Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία παρουσιάζονται πολυεπίπεδες επεμβάσεις στο εγκαταλελειμμένο βιομηχανικό συγκρότημα του πρώην αγροτικού συνεταιρισμού των Αρχανών Κρήτης. Κύριος στόχος της πρότασης είναι η επανένταξη του χώρου στον οικισμό μέσα από τον επαναπροσδιορισμό των συνδέσεων του συγκροτήματος με το περιβάλλον του, τον επανασχεδιασμό των εσωτερικών ροών και της διάρθρωσης του οικοπέδου, καθώς και την εισαγωγή νέων χρήσεων παραγωγής και πολιτισμού που αναδεικνύουν την ιστορία της (οίνο)παραγωγής του συνεταιρισμού και της ευρύτερης περιοχής. Στην παρούσα πρόταση διατηρείται η πλειοψηφία των υφιστάμενων βιομηχανικών κελυφών, καθώς κρίνονται ως κτίσματα υψηλής σημασίας. Έπειτα, εφαρμόζοντας το εργαλείο της αφαίρεσης, σε διάφορες κλίμακες και ανάλογα με τις κτιριακές απαιτήσεις και τις σχεδιαστικές κατευθύνσεις, επιτυγχάνεται η βασική πρόθεση της μελέτης: η εισαγωγή νέων τρόπων αντίληψης και βίωσης του δομημένου και αδόμητου χώρου. Στην προτεινόμενες επεμβάσεις πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο διαδραματίζει το στοιχείο του φωτός το οποίο έρχεται να καταργήσει τα σκοτεινά, αφιλόξενα κτίσματα των οινοδεξαμενών του συγκροτήματος, και να επαναπροσδιορίσει την σχέση τους με τον άνθρωπο. Τελικό αποτέλεσμα είναι η δημιουργία ενός δικτύου διαδρομών που διατρέχουν τόσο τους ανοιχτούς χώρους όσο και τα μέχρι πρότινος κλειστά, αδιάβατα βιομηχανικά κελύφη, και φέρνουν τον επισκέπτη σε επαφή με την παραγωγή και τον πολιτισμό του τόπου που αποτελούν αδιάσπαστα στοιχεία της ταυτότητας του.	el
heal.abstract	This dissertation presents multilevel interventions in the abandoned industrial complex of the former agricultural cooperative of Archanes, Crete. The main objective is the complex’s reintegration into the settlement which is achieved through the redefinition of the connections to its environment, the redesign of its internal structure as well as the introduction of new cultural and productive uses that highlight the wine production history of the cooperative and its wider area. In the present proposal, the majority of the existing industrial shells are preserved, as they are considered of high importance. After applying the tool of abstraction - at different scales and depending on the building requirements and the design directions - the basic intention is achieved which is the introduction of new ways to perceive and experience both the structured and the unstructured space. In the proposed interventions the leading role is played by the element of light which comes to remove the dark, inhospitable buildings of the wine tanks of the complex, and redefine their relationship with people. The final result is the creation of a network of routes that run through both the open spaces and the previously closed, impassable industrial shells, in order to bring the visitor in contact with the production and the culture that are inseparable elements of the area’s identity.	en
