heal.abstract	Το θέμα της παρούσας διπλωματικής είναι η Επανάχρηση του Πύργου Πειραιά. Το ενδιαφέρον επικεντρώθηκε στην αξιοποίηση ενός υφιστάμενου κτιρίου και στην ανάπλαση της γύρω περιοχής, καθώς υπάρχουν πολλά κενά κελύφη που θα μπορούσαν να επαναχρησιμοποιηθούν, δίνοντας νέα πνοή ζωής στην πόλη. Η επιλογή του συγκεκριμένου κτιρίου έγινε βάσει της μορφολογίας του και της πορείας του στον χρόνο, καθώς έμεινε ανολοκλήρωτο και δεν χρησιμοποιήθηκε ποτέ. Η πρόταση ανταποκρίνεται κυρίως σε ζητήματα μορφολογικά και συνθετικά, λαμβάνοντας υπ’ όψιν τις βασικές κατευθύνσεις – αρχές που υπαγορεύουν οι κύριοι άξονες της πολεοδομίας, της μορφολογίας, του βιοκλιματικού σχεδιασμού με την χρησιμοποίηση νέων τεχνολογιών, και της οικοδομικής. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίνεται στην «διόρθωση» των αναλογιών του Πύργου, στην μελέτη του κτιριολογικού προγράμματος και στην συνθετική σχεδίαση των εσωτερικών χώρων ανάλογα με την χρήση τους, κάτι που επηρεάζει και την γενικότερη μορφή, με την δημιουργία καμπυλόσχημων ημιυπαίθριων πλατωμάτων – διαδρόμων, που παρεμβάλλονται μεταξύ του μέσα και του έξω. Η προσθήκη αυτή ολοκληρώνεται με μια ενιαία καμπύλη από περσίδες, αγκαλιάζοντας περιμετρικά όλους τους διαδρόμους, ενώ αποκολλάται στις άκρες. Στόχος της καμπυλόσχημης προσθήκης είναι ο ουσιαστικός διάλογος μεταξύ του αυστηρά μοντέρνου πρίσματος με τα σαφή όρια του Πύργου και της σύγχρονης αρχιτεκτονικής ως εργαλείο σύνδεσης του νέου με το παλιό.	el
heal.abstract	The subject of this thesis is the Reuse of the Piraeus Tower. The focus was on the utilisation of an existing building and the renovation of the surrounding area, as there are many empty shells that could be reused. This specific building was chosen due to its morphology and course over time, as it remained unfinished and unused. The proposal addresses mainly morphological and synthetic issues, taking into account the basic principles dictated by the main axes of urban planning, morphology, bioclimatic design using new technologies, and construction. Special emphasis is given to the "correction" of the proportions of the Tower, to the study of the building program and to the synthetic design of the interiors according to their use, something that affects the general form as well as, with the creation of curved semi-outdoor corridors, interposed between the inside and the outside. This addition is completed with a single curve of blinds, embracing all the corridors perimetrically while it’s detached at the edges. The aim of the curved addition is the essential dialogue between the strictly modern prism with the clear boundaries of the Tower and the modern architecture as a tool to connect the new with the old.	en
