heal.abstract	Με αφορμή την έρευνά μου γύρω από το δίπολο αρχαίο-σύγχρονο, προέκυψε το ερώτημα για το αν η αρχιτεκτονική που δημιουργήθηκε 2500 χιλιάδες χρόνια πριν.Μπορεί να αποτελέσει πηγή έμπνευσης και βάση σχεδιασμού στη σύγχρονη εποχή. Μια πρώτη απάντηση προσπαθεί να δώσει η παρούσα διπλωματική, με τόπο αναφοράς την Ιερή Δήλο, όπου σύμφωνα με τη μυθολογία γεννήθηκε το φως του σύμπαντος. Ένα φως που ερμηνεύω ως ρεαλιστικό, ως εργαλείο σχεδιασμού χώρου και ως πνευματικό εφόδιο.Η πρόταση πραγματεύεται νέο σενάριο πρόσβασης και περιήγησης στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο, καθώς και νέο κτιριακό συγκρότημα με πολλαπλές λειτουργίες. Ο σχεδιασμός βασίζεται απόλυτα στην αντίληψη του πνεύματος του τόπου, κι έπειτα στην ανάλυση και ερμηνεία του πολεοδομικού και αρχιτεκτονικού λεξιλογίου της αρχαίας πόλης της Δήλου. Επιχειρείται η εκσκαφή ως απόλυτη ενσωμάτωση με τη γη που φέρει βαριά νοήματα, καθώς και αρμονική σχέση και ισορροπία μεταξύ αρχαίου-σύγχρονου. Δημιουργείται ένα κατώφλι πριν τη θέαση και επίσκεψη του ανοιχτού αρχαιολογικού χώρου, το οποίο εκπαιδεύει μέσα από την αναλογία, την κλίμακα και το ύφος του κτιρίου, τον επισκέπτη, γι αυτό που πρόκειται να συναντήσει στην αρχαία πόλη.	el
heal.abstract	On the occasion of my former research, concerning the dipole ancient-modern, the question whetever the architecture that happened 2500 years ago can still constitute a source of inspiration and a design basis in modern times has aroused. The current thesis intents to provide some initial answers to this question, by referring to the sacred island of Delos, the place where the universal light was born, according to the greek mythology. A light, which I interpreted as realistic, as a space design tool and as an intellectual repository. This proposal introduces an innovative scenario of access and tour in the archaeological site, as well as a new multi-functional building complex. The design idea is based on the perception of the place's spirit and the analysis and interpretation of the urban and architectural vocabulary of the Delian ancient city. The excavation is supposed to be the core design element as an attempt to become totally integrated to the earth lever and subsequently preserve the heavy menaing of the landscape and the balance between ancient-modern. A view threshold before visiting the open air archaeological sites becomes a training tool for the visitro, through the presentation of proportions, scales and style of the buildings, preparing him for the rest of his visit.	en
