dc.description.abstract	Το πρόβλημα της κλιματικής αλλαγής αποτελεί πλέον πραγματικότητα και λαμβάνονται μέτρα για τον περιορισμό των επιπτώσεών του. Η σημαντικότερη διεθνής σύμβαση για την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος είναι το Πρωτόκολλο του Κιότο, στο πλαίσιο του υποίου δημιουργήθηκε ο Μηχανισμός Καθαρής Ανάπτυξης (ΜΚΑ). Ο ΜΚΑ παρέχει κίνητρα έτσι ώστε βιομηχανικά ανεπτυγμένες χώρες να χρηματοδοτήσουν προγράμματα για τη μείωση των εκπομπών αερίων του θερμοκηπίου στις αναπτυσσόμενες χώρες και ως αντιστάθμισμα να καρπωθούν μέρος των μειώσεων εκπομπών.	el
dc.description.abstract	The problem of climate change constitutes henceforth reality and measures are being taken for the minimization of its impacts. The most important international convention on the protection of environment is the Protocol of Kyoto; in its frame the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) was created. The CDM provides motivation so as the industrially developed countries finance programs for the reduction of greenhouse gases (GHGs) emissions in developing countries and thus indirectly decrease their own GHGs emissions.	en
