heal.abstract	Η Παλίρροια του Ευρίπου είναι ένα σύνθετο μοναδικό φαινόμενο, οφειλόμενο στις παλιρροιακές δυνάμεις που παρατηρείται μόνο στον πορθμό του Ευρίπου. Σε αυτό τον χώρο παρουσιάζεται το φαινόμενο, τα ύδατα του διαύλου να κινούνται συνεχώς, ενώ συγχρόνως να αλλάζουν και φορά κίνησης, κατευθυνόμενα άλλοτε προς τον Βόρειο και άλλοτε προς το Νότιο Ευβοϊκό. Η συστηματική παρακολούθηση του εν λόγω ρεύματος έδειξε ότι ενώ στις 22-23 ημέρες παρουσιάζει μια κανονικότητα αλλαγής φοράς ανά 6 ώρες περίπου, όπως ακριβώς η παλίρροια, στις υπόλοιπες 6-7 ημέρες του μήνα το ρεύμα γίνεται τόσο ακανόνιστο που μπορεί να αλλάξει φορά ακόμη και 14 φορές μέσα στο ίδιο 24ωρο. Η διπλωματική εργασία με τίτλο <<Ανάπλαση παραλιακών μετώπων του πορθμού του Ευρίπου>> έχει ως σκοπό να αναδείξει την ιστορική και πολιτιστική κληρονομιά που είναι κρυμμένη στον πορθμό του Ευρίπου. Με επεμβάσεις που σέβονται απόλυτα το τοπίο, γίνεται προσπάθεια ανανοηματοδότησης του παρελθόντος. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, οι εξελίξεις των γεφυρώσεων του πορθμού του Ευρίπου και η πολεοδομική ανασυγκρότηση της πόλης της Χαλκίδας, γέννησαν τις ιδέες των αρχιτεκτονικών χειρονομιών που ο συνδυασμός αυτός οδήγησε στην ανάπλαση των παραλιακών μετώπων του πορθμού. Οι δύο κύριες κατευθύνσεις είναι η σχέση του ανθρώπου με το νερό και φυσικά το φαινόμενο της παλίρροιας η αλλιώς των ‘τρελών νερών’, και η υπενθύμιση του παρελθόντος. Η Χαλκίδα είναι μια πόλη με πλούσια ιστορία και μια μοναδική γεωμορφολογική θέση χάρη στον πορθμό του Ευρίπου.	el
heal.abstract	The Tide of Euripus is a complex and unique phenomenon, due to the tidal forces that is observed only in the Strait of Euripus. In this area, the phenomenon occurs, the waters of the channel to move constantly, while at the same time to change the direction of movement, directed sometimes to the North and sometimes to the South Evia. Systematic monitoring of this current showed that while on 22-23 days it shows a regularity of change of direction every 6 hours approximately, just like the tide, on the remaining 6-7 days of the month the current becomes so irregular that it can change direction even 14 times in the same 24 hours. The dissertation entitled "Reconstruction of coastal fronts of the Strait of Euripus" aims to highlight the historical and cultural heritage hidden in the Strait of Euripus. With interventions that fully respect the landscape, an attempt is made to reinterpret the past. More specifically, the developments of the bridges of the strait of Evripos and the urban reconstruction of the city of Chalkida, gave birth to the ideas of architectural gestures that this combination led to the regeneration of the coastal fronts of the strait. The two main directions are the relationship of man with water and of course the phenomenon of the tide or "crazy water", and the reminder of the past. Chalkida is a city with a rich history and a unique geomorphological position thanks to the strait of Euripus.	en
