heal.abstract	Global trade, the massive emission of exhaust gases from vehicles and the needs of the society after the pandemic of COVID-19, are leading to the development of an organized and more efficient freight transport systems in order to improve the efficiency of deliveries and reduce transport costs. The subject of this thesis, relates to the development of optimization programs for vehicles routine problems (VRP). In particular, the problem of distribution of medicines in the regional unit of Aitoloakarnania, with data from the Agrinio’s drug depot, Pharmanet, was studied. The road network was developed in GIS with geographic data from OpenStreetMaps and the resolution was done through the free OR-Tools software.	en
