heal.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία επικεντρώνεται στην εκτίμηση της ποιότητας ζωής στο λεκανοπέδιο της Αθήνας υπό το πρίσμα της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης. Για το σκοπό αυτό αξιοποιούνται 23 δείκτες οι οποίοι επιλέχθηκαν με περιβαλλοντικά, κοινωνικά και οικονομικά κριτήρια. Η περιοχή μελέτης εξετάζεται χωρικά σε δημοτικό επίπεδο και χρονικά το έτος 2019. Η οπτικοποίηση της πληροφορίας και των αποτελεσμάτων πραγματοποιήθηκε με την κατασκευή χαρτών σε περιβάλλον GIS. Αρχικά, πραγματοποιείται βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση στην έννοια της ποιότητας ζωής, γενικά και ειδικά στον αστικό χώρο, και παρουσιάζεται η έννοια της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης. Στη συνέχεια, γίνεται αναφορά στην περιοχή μελέτης ως προς τα περιβαλλοντικά, κοινωνικά και οικονομικά της χαρακτηριστικά. Ακολούθως, παρουσιάζονται οι τιμές των επιλεγμένων δεικτών για τους δήμους της περιοχής μελέτης καθώς και οι σχετικοί χάρτες. Στη συνέχεια, υπολογίζεται ο συνθετικός περιβαλλοντικός δείκτης, ο συνθετικός κοινωνικός δείκτης και ο συνθετικός οικονομικός δείκτης με τη συσσωμάτωση των περιβαλλοντικών, των κοινωνικών και των οικονομικών δεικτών, αντίστοιχα. Τέλος, υπολογίζεται ο συνθετικός δείκτης της ποιότητας ζωής με τη συσσωμάτωση των συνθετικών δεικτών του περιβάλλοντος, της κοινωνίας και της οικονομίας, και παρουσιάζονται τα αποτελέσματα και τα συμπεράσματα της μελέτης. Βάσει της ανάλυσης που πραγματοποιήθηκε στην παρούσα μελέτη, οι αναγκαίες δράσεις βιώσιμου σχεδιασμού προτείνεται να ληφθούν με προτεραιότητα στους δήμους της Π.Ε. Πειραιώς καθώς και στους δήμους Αθηναίων, Αγίας Βαρβάρας, Αιγάλεω και Καλλιθέας.	el
heal.abstract	This thesis focuses on the assessment of the quality of life in the Athens basin through the prism of sustainable development. For this purpose, 23 indicators are used which were selected based on environmental, social and economic criteria. The study area is examined spatially at the municipal level within 2019. The visualization of the information and results was carried out by constructing maps in GIS software. Firstly, a literature review is carried out on the concept of quality of life, both in general and specifically in the urban area. The concept of sustainable development is also presented. Furthermore, reference is made to the study area in terms of its environmental, social and economic characteristics. Next, the values of the selected indicators for the municipalities of the study area and the corresponding maps are presented. Following on from this, the environmental, social and economic indicators are aggregated to calculate the composite environmental indicator, the composite social indicator and the composite economic indicator, respectively. Then, the composite indicator of the quality of life is calculated by aggregating the composite indicators of the environment, the society and the economy. Finally, the results and conclusions of the study are presented. Based on the analysis carried out in this study, the necessary actions for sustainable planning are proposed to be taken with priority in the municipalities of the Piraeus regional unit as well as in the municipalities of Athens, Agia Varvara, Egaleo and Kallithea.	en
