heal.abstract	Η παρούσα εργασία μελετά μια σειρά από γραμμές που διαδραματίζουν σημαντικό ρόλο στη διαδικασία της αρχιτεκτονικής σύνθεσης. Οι γραμμές αυτές ορίζονται ως ρυθμιστικές, καθώς καθορίζουν σε πολύ μεγάλο βαθμό τη διαμόρφωση του σχεδιαζόμενου χώρου. Αρχικά, λοιπόν, αναλύεται ο όρος των ρυθμιστικών γραμμών όπως έχει καταγραφεί στην Ελληνική και τη διεθνή βιβλιογραφία. Στη συνέχεια προτείνονται τέσσερεις βασικές κατηγορίες ανάλογα τα ιδιαίτερα χαρακτηριστικά τους, τα οποία συνδέονται με τους παράγοντες που τις γεννούν και συνοψίζονται ως εξής: (α) στη συνθετική πρωτοβουλία, (β) τον ήδη υπάρχοντα περιβάλλοντα χώρο, (γ) την λειτουργικότητα και κατασκευαστική αρτιότητα του έργου και (δ) τη γεωμετρία. Τέλος, οι ρυθμιστικές γραμμές εξετάζονται στην πράξη μέσα από την εκ των υστέρων ανάλυση φοιτητικών εργασιών της γράφουσας, αλλά και μέσα από την ανάλυση ενός υλοποιημένου αρχιτεκτονικού έργου, του Μουσείου Περιβάλλοντος στην Στυμφαλία των Δημήτρη Ησαΐα και Τάση Παπαϊωάννου. Συμπερασματικά, η παρούσα εργασία, ξεπλέκει τις γραμμές των αρχιτεκτονικών σχεδίων, με έμφαση στην κάτοψη, ώστε να τις ενώσει ξανά. Βλέπει για λίγο τις γραμμές μεμονωμένα, αλλά στο τέλος αναζητά την ύφανσή τους σε ένα αδιαίρετο όλο. Σαν ο χώρος να είναι, δηλαδή, ένα υφαντό που συνδιαμορφώνεται από ν(ο)ήματα με ορισμένα χαρακτηριστικά, αλλά και από τον τρόπο που αυτά συμπλέκονται.	el
heal.abstract	This research thesis studies a series of lines that play a significant role in the process of architectural design. These lines are called regulating, as they highly constrain the formulation of designed space. Initially, the term of regulating lines is examined through an extensive literature review. Regulating lines are then distinguished into four broad categories, according to their special characteristics, which are related to their originating factors that were found to be based upon: (a) synthetic initiative, (b) existing surrounding space, (c) utility and construction and (d) geometry. Finally, regulating lines are examined in practice through revisiting the author’s student projects, as well as, through the example of a built architectural project, the Environment Museum of Stymphalia designed by Dimitris Isaias and Tassis Papaioannou. In conclusion, this thesis, unweaves the lines of architectural drawings, focusing particularly on that of the plan, only in order to put them back together at the end. It sees them isolated, for a while, but at the end it attempts to weave them back in an inseparable whole. It suggests that space is like a fabric that is constructed by threads and meanings that are defined by the way that they both intertwine.	en
