heal.abstract	Η παρούσα εργασία επιχειρεί να επαναφέρει την έννοια της γειτονιάς, της μικροκλίμακας αλλά και της μνήμης στις εργατικές πολυκατοικίες της Ευαγγελίστριας στο Περιστέρι που χτίστηκαν στις αρχές του 1970. Η πρόταση κινείται σε τρεις βασικούς άξονες παρέμβασης: Η πρώτη παρέμβαση αφορά την δημιουργία μιας κεντρικής διαδρομής η οποία διασχίζει υπό γωνία τις πολυκατοικίες μέσα από τις πιλοτές. Μαζί με τον κάναβο που την ακολουθεί στην στρέψη, δημιουργούνται χώροι στάσης κίνησης και χρήσης οι οποίοι συνομιλούν με τις ανάγκες των κατοίκων. Τέλος προστίθενται επεκτάσεις στις εισόδους των πολυκατοικιών που εκτονώνονται στον δημόσιο χώρο, που αφορούν δύο τύπους κατοικιών καθώς και διαφορετικά εργαστήρια- χώροι κοινωνικοποίησης. Η δεύτερη παρέμβαση αφορά την επανάχρηση μιας μπάρας καταστημάτων που εφάπτεται στις πολυκατοικίες και πλέον δεν χρησιμοποιείται. Αφαιρούνται κάποιοι χώροι στο ισόγειο και μετατρέπεται το δώμα σε υπερυψωμένη διαδρομή με φύτευση που συνδέει την είσοδο του μετρό με το νέο μουσείο. Η τρίτη παρέμβαση αφορά την δημιουργία ενός χώρου μνήμης και πολιτισμού. Δημιουργείται ένα διώροφο κτίριο που επιχειρεί να τονίσει την ιστορική συνέχεια της γειτονιάς και να επαναπροσδιορίσει την κοινή μνήμη μεταξύ των κατοίκων. Ο εκθεσιακός χώρος βρίσκεται στον δεύτερο όροφο και θα φιλοξενεί μαρτυρίες, φωτογραφίες και ντοκουμέντα της ιστορίας των εργατικών και της περιοχής γενικότερα. Στο ισόγειο τοποθετείται ένα καφέ και ένας πολυχώρος που συνομιλεί με την διαγώνιο διαδρομή.	el
heal.abstract	The thesis redesigns the notion of neighborhood microscale and local memory in the Evangelistria workingclass apartment blocks that were built during the 1970s at Peristeri neighborhood of Athens. The proposal explores three axes of intervention. The first axis concerns the creation of a central route that crosses diagonally, the apartment buildings under the pilotis. A new grid is created that follows the route’s angle and facilitated places to sit but also various usage spaces that facilitate the residents’ needs. Finally, extensions are added to the entrances of the apartment buildings, that offer two types of housing and various workshops and working spaces. The second axis concerns the rehabilitation of a block of commercial stores which is next to the apartment buildings and is currently closed. Some spaces on the ground floor are removed and its roof is converted into an elevated planted pathway that connects the subway entrance to the new museum. The third axis concerns the creation of a new cultural center that highlights the memory of the neighborhood. A new two-story building is created that emphasizes the historical continuity of the neighborhood and redefines the common memory among the local residents. The exhibition space is located on the second floor and will host testimonies, photos and documents of the history of the apartment buildings and the neighborhood in general. On the ground floor there is a café and a multi-purpose room that communicates with the diagonal route.	en
