Στόχος η ανάδειξη και ενίσχυση του ρόλου του Εθνικού Κήπου ως «βοτανικού κήπου», στη δημιουργία νέας κεντρικότητας, αλλά και στην ανάπτυξη ευρύτερων συστημάτων παιδείας και ευαισθητοποίησης σε θέματα πολιτιστικής και φυσικής κληρονομιάς.	el
