heal.abstract	Η εργασία είχε ως στόχο την διερεύνηση διαφορετικών διαδικασιών επιβίωσης, των πολλαπλών και δυναμικών σχέσεων που υφίστανται στην πολύπλοκη και πολυπολιτισμική γειτονιά της Αθήνας, την Κυψέλη. Η έρευνα είχε ως στόχο την ανάδειξη των καθημερινών πρακτικών που λαμβάνουν χώρα σε τοπικό επίπεδο, για την επίλυση των προβλημάτων των ευάλωτων ομάδων, των φτωχών, των μεταναστών, των ψυχικά πασχόντων, μέσα από την δραστηριότητα των συλλογικοτήτων και των τοπικών κοινωνικών φορέων, αλλά και την αξιολόγηση της επίσημης ανάγνωσης και των μέτρων πολιτικής για την αντίληψη της φτώχειας και την άμβλυνση των ανισοτήτων. Η προσέγγιση των σχέσεων που διαδραματίζονται στο υποβαθμισμένο αστικό περιβάλλον και η κατανόηση αυτών, ταυτόχρονα με την αξιολόγηση των κοινωνικο-χωρικών πολιτικών, γίνεται μέσα από την σύνθεση διαφορετικών εικόνων και συζητήσεων από την εμπειρία μου στο πεδίο αλλά και δεδομένων, τόσο του επισήμου αναπτυξιακού λόγου όσο και δευτερογενών πηγών, στατιστικών μελετών, για τον Δήμο Αθηναίων και την Κυψέλη. Η εργασία βασίζεται στην σύνθεση των εικόνων, όψεων και στοιχείων και τον επαναπροσδιορισμό των ερωτημάτων που χαρακτηρίζουν τις διαδικασίες που διαδραματίζονται στη γειτονιά και την σχέση τους με τις κοινωνικο-χωρικές πολιτικές. Στόχος μου ήταν να αφουγκραστώ τις «φωνές» των ανθρώπων, των κοινωνικών φορέων και των συλλογικοτήτων, μέσα από εκτενή έρευνα πεδίου, από το 2020 έως και σήμερα, και να συνδέσω τους στόχους και τις ανάγκες τους με την φυσιογνωμία της γειτονιάς και τα χαρακτηριστικά της φτώχειας όπως αυτά αποτυπώνονται διαχρονικά στα δευτερογενή στοιχεία που αντλήθηκαν από την Ελληνική Στατιστική Αρχή και στα θεσμικά εργαλεία που αναζήτησα μέσω βιβλιογραφικών και ηλεκτρονικών πηγών έρευνας. Η συνεχής επαφή με το πεδίο με σειρά συζητήσεων, με την μέθοδο της χιονοστιβάδας, συνεισέφερε στην συνεχή συσχέτιση με τα πορίσματα των δευτερογενών πηγών. Ξεκινώντας από την διαχρονικά πολύπλοκη και πολυπολιτισμική γειτονιά της Κυψέλης, μια γειτονιά με έντονες κοινωνικές και χωρικές αντιθέσεις, διαφορετικές κοινωνικές ομάδες, με έντονα στοιχεία υποβάθμισης και παράλληλα σταδιακή αναβάθμιση, σε θύλακες ωραιοποίησης και ομοιογένειας στόχος μου ήταν να ερευνήσω δυνάμει διεξόδους από τον φαύλο κύκλο της υποβάθμισης και να αναδείξω τις σχέσεις που διαμορφώνονται ανάμεσα στις ευάλωτες κοινωνικές ομάδες, μετανάστες, ανέργους, ψυχικά ασταθείς κα. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, αναζήτησα αν υπήρξαν χρονικές περίοδοι όπου να διαφαίνεται με επιτυχία η στροφή προς την αλληλεγγύη και την κοινωνική σκέψη, με κίνητρο την επιβίωση και τα όνειρα για καλύτερη ζωή και αν η εμπειρία αυτή και οι πιθανές κοινωνικές συσπειρώσεις που συνεπάγεται στοιχειοθετούν προοπτικές για καλύτερο μέλλον. Μέσα από τις συζητήσεις πεδίου, συζητήσεις με κατοίκους της γειτονιάς αλλά και όσους δραστηριοποιούνται σε φορείς κοινωνικής αλληλεγγύης και συλλογικότητες, αναδείχθηκαν τόσο τα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζουν οι ευάλωτες ομάδες, όσο και η ελλιπής κοινωνική πολιτική σε αυτά. Η σίτιση, η ένταξη στην αγορά εργασίας, η πρόσβαση στην εκπαίδευση και η ψυχοκοινωνική στήριξη, ήταν τα ζητήματα που δραστηριοποιούνται οι περισσότεροι από τους παραπάνω, δημιουργώντας ένα δίκτυο σχέσεων αλληλοβοήθειας. Για να προσεγγίσω λοιπόν καλύτερα αυτές τις άτυπες θεσμικές σχέσεις που έχουν δημιουργηθεί στη γειτονιά, διερεύνησα την κοινωνική σύνθεση της Κυψέλης για το 1991, 2001 και 2011 αλλά και την διαχρονική διαχείριση της κοινωνικής πολιτικής, σε αυτά τα θέματα, σίτιση, ανεργία, εκπαίδευση και ψυχοκοινωνική επανένταξη, όπως και αναδείχθηκε η προβληματική, που ανακάλυψα στο πεδίο παρόλο που υπάρχουν σαφείς προσπάθειες θεσμικών οργανισμών. Η απουσία ενιαίας στρατηγικής, καθώς και η μη αναγνώριση των αναγκών και των προβλημάτων που υπάρχουν ουσιαστικά σε μια γειτονιά, οδηγεί στην σημερινή εικόνα, μιας γειτονιάς που αναπτύσσει τοπικά διαδικασίες για να καταφέρει να επιβιώσει και της πολιτικής που επικεντρώνεται σε σημειακές παρεμβάσεις «ανάπτυξης ή αναβάθμισης» και στα ουσιαστικά θέματα ακουμπάει επιφανειακά. Ανακαλύπτοντας αυτούς τους εσωτερικούς δεσμούς στην πορεία της έρευνας, κατέληξα ότι η ενίσχυση αυτών των συνεργειών της γειτονιάς θα πρέπει να ξεκινήσει με την ενίσχυση των ήδη υφιστάμενων σχέσεων με την προοπτική της επίλυσης των βασικών θεμάτων που αναδείχθηκαν την εκπαίδευση και την απασχόληση για να καταφέρει να υπάρξει ομαλή κοινωνική ένταξη των ευάλωτων ομάδων. Η εσωστρεφής προσέγγιση μου βασίζεται τόσο στην ζωντανή και ισχυρή δραστηριότητα της γειτονιάς, διαδικασίες και σχέσεις που αναπτύσσονται στην καθημερινότητα αλλά και τις σχέσεις αλληλεγγύης, αμοιβαιότητας και συνύπαρξης, όσο και στην ιδεολογική επιλογή μου σε αντίθεση με τις γενικότερες κοινωνικές πρακτικές, τις πολιτικές για την πόλη και τους θεσμούς. Έχοντας εμβαθύνει στη μελέτη των άτυπων αυτών διαδικασιών και σχέσεων, επέστρεψα στο πεδίο, στις συλλογικότητες, στους κατοίκους, σε όσους μου έδωσαν πιο έντονα αυτήν την εικόνα της δικτύωσης και της σημασίας της συσπείρωσης στη γειτονιά, με απώτερο σκοπό αυτήν την φορά να τους εκφράσω τις σκέψεις μου και να δω αν η στρατηγική ενίσχυση των δικτύων θα μπορούσε σαν χιονοστιβάδα, να συμπαρασύρει περισσότερες κοινωνικές δομές και συλλογικότητες και εκτός γειτονιάς, να συμπαρασύρει τον κόσμο της και αν τελικά όλη αυτή η προσέγγιση θα μπορούσε σταδιακά να επιλύσει εν μέρει τα προβλήματα της.	el
heal.abstract	The thesis objective was to investigate the different survival processes of the multiple and dynamic relations existing in the complex and poly-cultural quarter of Athens, namely, Kypseli. The search had as its objective to highlight the daily practices taking place at local level, for the resolution of the problems of sensitive groups, poor people, migrants, mentally ill people, within the activity of collectivities and local social agencies, but also the evaluation of the formal reading and of the policy measures for the perception of poverty and the smoothing out of inequalities. The approach of the relations played out in the degraded urban environment and their understanding, at the same with the evaluation of socio-local policies, is carried out through the synthesis of different images and discussions from my experience in the field, but also data, both from the formal developmental speech and the secondary sources, statistical studies, for the Municipality of Athens and for Kypseli. The thesis is based on the synthesis of the images, views, and elements and the redefinition of the questions characterizing the processes played out in the quarter and in their relationship with the socio-local policies. My objective was to actually listen to the “voices” of the people, the social agencies and the collectivities, through an extensive field research, from 2020 up to and including today, and to link the objectives and their needs with the physiognomy of the quarter and the characteristics of poverty as these are represented through time in the secondary elements that were taken out from the Hellenic Statistical Authority and in the institutional tools that I sought through bibliographical and electronic research sources. The continuous contact with the field by a series of discussions, using the avalanche method, contributed to the constant correlation with the conclusions of the secondary sources. Starting from the all-time complex and poly-cultural quarter of Kypseli, a quarter with intense social and local contrasts, different social groups, with intense degradation elements and parallel to this, gradual upgrading, in pockets of embellishment and homogeneity, my goal was to investigate potential ways out from the vicious circle of degrading and to highlight the relations that are formulated among the sensitive social groups, migrants, unemployed, mentally unstable people etc. More specifically, I searched whether there were time periods where it would was possible for turn to appear successfully toward solidarity and social thought, with the motive being the survival and the dreams for a better life and whether that experience and the probable social cohesions that is entailed compose prospects for better future. Through the field discussions, discussions with the residents of the quarter but also those activated into social solidarity agencies and collectivities, it was possible to highlight both the problems that the sensitive groups are dealing with, and the deficient social policy in these. The feeding, the inclusion into the job market, the access to education and the psycho-social support were the topics where most of the above are active into, creating a network of mutual aid relationships. So, for me to approach better these informal institutional relationships that have been created in the quarter, I investigated the social composition of Kypseli for the years 1991, 2001 and 2011, but also the all-time management of the social policy on these issues, such as feeding, unemployment, education, psycho-social reintegration, as wall as there was emergence of the problematics that I discovered in the field despite the fact that there are clear efforts of institutional organisations. The absence of a uniform strategy as well as the non-recognition of the needs and the problems that actually exist in a quarter, leads to the picture of today of a quarter that is developing locally processes in order to manage to survive and the policy which focuses on point interventions of “development and upgrading” and on the significant issues touches only superficially . In discovering these internal bonds in the course of the search, I came to the conclusion that the reinforcement of these synergies of the neighbourhood will have to begin with the reinforcement of the already existing relationships with the prospect of resolving the key points highlighted, that is the education and the employment in order to manage to exist a smooth social integration of the sensitive groups. My introverted approach is based both in the live and powerful activity of the neighbourhood, processes and relationships that are developed in the daily life and the relations of solidarity, mutuality and coexistence, as well as my ideological choice contrary to the more general social practices, policies, the policies for the city and for the institutions. Having deepened in the study of these informal processes and relationships, I returned to the field, the collectivities, the residents, to those that gave me more intensely this image of networking and the significance of pulling together in the neighbourhood, with the ultimate goal being this time to express to them my thoughts and see whether the strategy of the networks could, like an avalanche, drift with it its people and whether finally this entire approach could gradually resolve partially its own problems.	en
