heal.abstract	Σκοπό της διάλεξης αυτής αποτελεί η διερεύνηση των σύγχρονων προκλήσεων φυσικού και ανθρωπογενούς περιβάλλοντος που αδιάλειπτα εντείνονται στις χώρες του Τρίτου Κόσμου, η αντιμετώπισή τους μέσα από μία σύγχρονη αρχιτεκτονική προσέγγιση που βασίζεται στην κοινωνική εμπλοκή, καθώς και η σημασία επανεξέτασης του πολιτιστικού περιβάλλοντος των αφρικανικών τόπων. Με σημείο αφετηρίας τη βιωσιμότητα και την πολιτιστική ταυτότητα κάθε τόπου, μελετάται η σημασία αξιοποίησης φυσικών πόρων και τοπικών χεριών εργασίας, στοχεύοντας στην ισορροπία μεταξύ φυσικού και ανθρωπογενούς περιβάλλοντος, στην αξιοπρέπεια και την ισότητα. Πολλές χώρες της Αφρικής, έχοντας χάσει κομμάτια της ταυτότητάς τους εξαιτίας της αποικιοκρατίας, εκδηλώνουν τα τελευταία χρόνια επιθυμία πολιτιστικής ανοικοδόμησης, τραβώντας το βλέμμα πολλών αρχιτεκτόνων. Προσπαθώντας να ξεφύγουν από την παγκοσμιοποίηση, έχουν ανάγκη μία εναλλακτική προσέγγιση που εμπνέεται από την τοπική αρχιτεκτονική και την κοινοτική δέσμευση. Τα υλικά της γης κατέχουν σημαντική θέση στη σύγχρονη αρχιτεκτονική συζήτηση, τα οποία αξιοποιούνται με καινοτόμους τρόπους χαμηλής τεχνολογίας. Σύγχρονα προβλήματα, όπως η κλιματική αλλαγή, οι περιβαλλοντικές κρίσεις, η αστικοποίηση, οι συγκρούσεις, καθώς και οι ταχείες τεχνολογικές εξελίξεις απειλούν ασταμάτητα τον ανθρώπινο βιότοπο. Ο αρχιτέκτονας του σήμερα φέρει ηθική ευθύνη να συνεχίσει την παραγωγή βιώσιμων χώρων μέσα από την ερμηνεία του τόπου σε συνεργασία με τους κατοίκους. Υποσχόμενος κοινωνικό μετασχηματισμό, ενισχύει την τοπική οικονομία, τη συμμετοχή και την εμπιστοσύνη, εμπλέκοντας όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερους ενδιαφερόμενους	el
heal.abstract	The purpose of this lecture is the current challenges of the natural and anthropogenic environment that continuously intensify at the countries of the Third World, their confrontation through a modern architectural approach that relies on social engagement and the importance of reconsideration of the cultural environment at the african places. Starting with sustainability and cultural identity of each place, the importance of utilization of natural resources and local workers is studied, aiming to the balance between natural and anthropogenic environment, dignity and equity. Many african countries, having lost parts of their identity due to colonialism, the last years manifest a desire for cultural reconstruction, gaining attention from a lot of architects. Trying to distant themselves from globalization, they need an alternative approach that is inspired by local architecture and community engagement. Materials from the earth have a significant place in the modern architectural discussion, which are used with low technology innovative ways. Current problems, such as climate change, environmental crises, urbanization, conflicts and rapid technological developments unstoppably threaten the human habitat. The architect of today has the moral responsibility to continue the production of sustainable spaces through the interpretation of the place in cooperation with the residents. Promising social transformation, he boosts local economy, participation and trust by invloving as many people interested as possible.	en
